From the depths of space to this forum

#1 Post by Lordadmiral Drake »

Hello, Lordadmiral Drake reporting in here 8)

I'm a 25 year old computer, sci-fi and electronics nerd from Austria
In my day job I work at a local company that is market leader in commercial cooling racks and freezers.

I recently stumbled over TwoKinds while looking for wallpapers (as you can read in my post in "How did you find TwoKinds" ^^ )

Don't really consider myself a Furry, I just like a good story with well written characters with backgrounds and such, yadda yadda

Though now that I'm hooked on this comic and deprived of stuff to read (since I basically read the entire story last weekend) I might look for more like it.

Hello and welcome to the forum! I like how this comic attracts people from all over the world! I'm glad you enjoy the story, I was hooked too upon reading it. Don't worry too much about the furries, they won't bother you too much and it's definitely not a requirement to like the comic. Anyways, if you look around I'm sure you'll find all kinds of fun stuff to do here, just remember to read the rules! Oh, and don't drink the water, I've heard bad things...

Welcome. Yeah, I to enjoyed the storyline over being a furry enthusiast. Plus I loved the progression of the art style as I read it.

Welcome to the forums and I'm glad you know you don't have to be a furry to like the comic. Besides, the comic is what brings us all here to the forums anyways so welcome to the forums family.(we don't bite, I promise :D )

I am not a furry either but I like that style of art as it broadens the races I can add to stories, comics, etc. :)

Well, even if I don't see myself as a furry, I wouldn't mind if some of the characters were real ;) :flora: :natani: :raine:
And the community here seems real friendly :)
I've been (well, still am, but the site is pretty much dead now) moderator on a game fansite forum, which got pretty hostile at some point (main reason I became mod there, as well as having been a member for many years)

As for bringing people from all over the world together, I initially thought from his name that Tom Fischbach himself were an austrian or german ^^

I don't actually read a lot of comics anymore, rather mass effect and dragon age stories at fanfiction.net (mostly mass effect as you can probably tell from my avatar).
Mostly the ones with romance involved (quite ironic really, given the fact that I've never had a girlfriend in my life yet - or maybe actually because of that, who knows ^^ )

But TwoKinds had me sucked in instantly and before I knew it i ran out of pages to read xD
