Discovered GUNSHIP not too long ago, they're an Electronic cyberpunk band.
This particular song gave me feels for days on end, the lyrics were so well thought-out.
Despite the thumbnail, the entirety of the video is drawn in the most beautifully shaded way. Every frame looks like it was drawn by hand

Pendulum is a group that I listen to religiously, I actually ordered a physical CD of their Immersion album (I know, who even buys CDs anymore :o ). I see what you are getting at, although I wouldn't go as far as to say that they sound the same, Pendulum has a more hard rock feel to it;

This Foxx has well over 1,000 CDs covering many different musical genres...from the best of the class to, um, "torture" music. :twisted: Lately, I've been listening to more European hard rock and metal bands such as Iron Maiden (including Bruce Dickinson solo works), Týr, Nightwish, Stratovarius, AB/CD (an AC/DC cover band, but they do their own songs) and Yngwie Malmsteen. There is one older classic rock song out of the Netherlands which is quite intriguing, primarily due to the fact that the country doesn't even have any mountains. It came out in 1971, and was the main hit by a band called Focus. I'm sure some of you have heard it before. I will only post these things as links instead of videos. I've noticed that placing a number of videos will cause thread pages to load much slower and take longer for everything to come up.

I generally listen to classic rock most of the time as well as soft rock and oldies.

Would spoilers make a difference?

Anyhow, I've been listening to the 80s French hard rock group Magnum:

That's a pretty cool song. According to Wikipedia, Magnum is actually a UK band. I haven't tried videos in spoilers, so I'm not sure.

Dark Passion Play, which came out in 2007, is probably one of the best albums put out by Finnish metal band Nightwish. The first track, "The Poet and the Pendulum," is one of the greatest start-offs I've heard on an album in quite awhile although the ending movement could be better. Their main hit track is "Amaranth," which I'm sure many European listeners have heard of before. The music video is inspired by a painting by Hugo Simberg. The spirit will live on...

Týr is a metal band out of the Faroe Islands. Much of their music is based on viking lore and Nordic legends. They have songs in both English and Faroese. By the Light of the Northern Star is probably their best album to date.

Heck...even Adolf Hitler likes this song. :mrgrin:

I'm probably wrong then, I heard they were a French band and then saw some French song titles so I made an assumption.

Just listened to Amaranth, loved the strong guitar ending.

Magnum formed in Birmingham, England in 1972, although their first studio album didn't come out until 1978. They currently have 19 studio albums to date with their latest being released last year.

To "Infinity" and beyond...with Stratovarius.

I also have a haunting tune by one of our local bands. Delta Rae is a folk rock group from Durham, North Carolina, but many of their members are originally from California. This song is off their second album.

I believe that would get on my nerves after awhile... :P

Therefore, I will stick with some classic rock. Like, um, ELF. Yes, old school Ronnie James Dio. He actually used his real name on their first album. I also like the cover design. :twisted:
