Those are good, especially Ghost. And if you haven't hard of them, Feint, Rameses B, Krale, and Kasger are all good sources of D&B, but Krale does more orchestral stuff than other genres nowadays. And I guess you may have already heard of Feint and Rameses B, but they're still good.xboxgamer969 wrote:I guess I should give a little more examples as to what type of Drum & Bass I like since there's a huge variety of it out there hehe (Typing this as I'm actually finishing up my 14th Drum & Bass Mix >.>)TheFrozenSlime wrote:Well, judging by the sample you posted, I assumed you liked the heavier D&B, and those were the two best examples I could think of off the top of my head. Also, I prefer Monstercat because there's generally a wider variety of music concentrated in one place than other labels. Not to say I don't listen to other labels or follow other artists, but I kind of agree that a large portion of the fanbase is immature 12 year olds, specifically on YT. The subreddit's not so bad tho.xboxgamer969 wrote:First one I already have, second one isn't my cup of tea, btw might wanna branch out to official DnB channels
Monstercat is kind of an EDM channel fo da keeds, idk had to say it hehe
Joking aside I'm into mostly what Hospital Records uploads, Liquicity is great aswell and RAM Records can be great at times when it wants to be
Here's some other examples of what kind of DnB I like I guess:

Re: Music Interests?
This one is a gem, I first heard Breeze's VIP mix on a Clubland compilation a year or so ago, but it doesn't quite stack up to the original mix.

I'm also partial to some gabber/Dutch hardcore.
NSFW: language, blood/gore, violence.

My taste in metal and punk is way too big to fit on a single post, so I'll have to spread it out over a few if the thread keeps on going.

From the Sergals and Sergal Lovers channel of F-List's chat system (Beyond NSFW, by the way): Honey, you ain't the only abnormal sergal in here. We got three pink northerns, a fairy, and a dork with a talking sword.

It's a welcome change from their usual style, I half expected it to change to that at some point. Very nice and unexpected cover from them.Insomniac wrote:I think this might be one of Disturbed's best works ever, this cover of The Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel.
Staying on the topic of nu metal bands, I pretty much got into the whole genre of metal through bands like Disturbed, Slipknot, Korn, etc, whom I thought were the heaviest stuff that was around at the time.
Edgy 14 year old me's music taste is pretty much summed up by this one song:

Just checked UKF for the first time in ages, was surprised to find a song that wasn't dubstep, drum & bass or generic EDM. I normally don't like bass house but this one got me nodding when it dropped.

Re: Music Interests?
While we're on the topic of electronic music, I found this song.
Beautiful, just don't know exactly what to make of the music video.

Also like a lot of Tristam's other songs, I think he's quickly becoming my favorite electronic artist. Even higher than Headhunterz.

Re: Music Interests?
Oh hey, I posted that in "Rate The Song" a few months ago when it was released! It's a great song, and the video is supposed to be about addiction (the black goop) taking over people's lives, or something along those lines. And I don't blame you for liking him so much, he's a lot of people's favorite artist, and definitely high on the list for me.DarkTheImmortal wrote:While we're on the topic of electronica, I found this song.

Anyway, still on the topic of electronica, I recently decided to listen through all of one of my favorite artist's older stuff, and I'm in love with this. Wish he'd release more, tho.

I also recommend White City and his recent Serenity EP
And on the topic of music videos, by far the best music videos I've ever seen are from Karma Fields's songs. Only 5 of his songs have videos, and they all have a distinct style, but no to videos are alike. This one's where I have my current sig gif:

I forgot how much I love Shinedown.
Me and my brother saw them in concert a week and a half ago and I ended up buying their new CD. Been playing it in my car every time I drive since XP
I think one of my favorites is this one:

Re: Music Interests?
Both versions of this song are awesome, but the latter is the one that I first heard in GTA V. The original's vocals are weirdly relaxing.
