Well, judging by the sample you posted, I assumed you liked the heavier D&B, and those were the two best examples I could think of off the top of my head. Also, I prefer Monstercat because there's generally a wider variety of music concentrated in one place than other labels. Not to say I don't listen to other labels or follow other artists, but I kind of agree that a large portion of the fanbase is immature 12 year olds, specifically on YT. The subreddit's not so bad tho.
I guess I should give a little more examples as to what type of Drum & Bass I like since there's a huge variety of it out there hehe (Typing this as I'm actually finishing up my 14th Drum & Bass Mix >.>)

Those are good, especially Ghost. And if you haven't hard of them, Feint, Rameses B, Krale, and Kasger are all good sources of D&B, but Krale does more orchestral stuff than other genres nowadays. And I guess you may have already heard of Feint and Rameses B, but they're still good.

Oh I've heard of Rameses B for sure, I have a good couple of songs from him myself :p
Faint I've seen a few times but never really kept one of his songs, Krale & Kasger on the other hand never heard of unfortunately

It's a welcome change from their usual style, I half expected it to change to that at some point. Very nice and unexpected cover from them.

Staying on the topic of nu metal bands, I pretty much got into the whole genre of metal through bands like Disturbed, Slipknot, Korn, etc, whom I thought were the heaviest stuff that was around at the time.

Just checked UKF for the first time in ages, was surprised to find a song that wasn't dubstep, drum & bass or generic EDM. I normally don't like bass house but this one got me nodding when it dropped.

Oh hey, I posted that in "Rate The Song" a few months ago when it was released! It's a great song, and the video is supposed to be about addiction (the black goop) taking over people's lives, or something along those lines. And I don't blame you for liking him so much, he's a lot of people's favorite artist, and definitely high on the list for me.

Anyway, still on the topic of electronica, I recently decided to listen through all of one of my favorite artist's older stuff, and I'm in love with this. Wish he'd release more, tho.
