Just recieved the shipping notification for my hardcover bundle, woo

Yay! Also got the mail

Me as well. Guess pestering them via email/facebook helped (Or maybe they are lurking on the board...)

At least everything worked out. Goody... I also just noticed where you two are located. CUSTOMS, enough said. It just adds to the delays.

My package is still on the snail boat. It's not expected to arrive here until next Tuesday.

I'm used to order cheap rubbish from China, that means I'm used to wait for packages.

Sometimes it's a 'WTF did I order?' after a few months.

And yes, I'm from the Netherlands (Europe)

I actually got my package earlier today, five days ahead of schedule.

And my shipment status is still 'Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS, USPS Awaiting Item', or is this normal with the USPS?

same here, I'll give it a week, if it still says that I'll ask keenspot about it

The U.S. Postal Service may not have actually picked up the item for shipment yet. FedEx and UPS are the same way from time to time. Also keep in mind that tracking posts online are usually delayed, some by a few hours. The shipper may receive online notification ahead of picking up the package. You should, hopefully, expect updates sometime tomorrow.

Is 48 hours normal? (although I occasionally get an error message on the USPS site, might be a hiccup in their system, I check every few hours)

I have no idea about the reliability of the US postal service, here (Netherlands) it's very accurate.

And of course, somewhere else a few moments after posting this I find a discussion about the complete unreliability of the USPS

Mine came today, yay!

Less yay, somehow the books got kind of squashed inside the packaging. They all have at least one squashed or dented corner. Was hoping they'd be better packaged considering how cool they are and how much they cost.

Sigh... Me thinks that they put that notice in as a placebo...
