Hello everyone! This story takes place in a futuristic Earth-based society where the religious beliefs of the ancient Greeks and Romans is as real as the air around you, around 200 years down the track, where mankind has discovered inter-dimensional space-time travel, and life outside the simple network of modern day society. Although the technology is here, it is still new, thus only a few connections have been currently truly established. A connection with a new realm known by the Earthmongers, (aka humans) as Mekkan, has been established within the past 130-180 years, connecting both the worlds of future Earth and modern Twokinds. This link, (via portal gates prevalent within many of the major cities around the globe on Earth) has allowed for an inter-species culture to develop within our society that has flourished and developed into a new cultural equality between the races of Earth's humans, and the under-classed sub-species of Mekkan such as Keidran, and Basitins. This gate being present in Mekkan in locations such inns, chapels, and in a few choice towns. First being brought in by the Templar as a means of searching for an eternal source of magic, they instead managed to connect with our world as they are on very similar planes. Mankind, Keidran, Basitins, even dragons have been known to travel between the worlds freely, as if traveling to another city. The 2 worlds have been melded into one essentially, being sustained on either end by magic brought in by the Templar, and head wizards of the Keidran society. Although this new world shared by both humans and non-humans has been in a time of relatively peaceful equality, something is coming..... something big..... that is prepared to test this new bond of friendship made between the races, and test the scales of their new relationship altogether. There are rumors that there is another world known as Medius on the brink of a connection by a great Templar wizard... little to the knowledge of the people of both realms that the forces of the Underworld muster for their first frontal attack on the new society as a whole, looking to conquer both the Earth realm, and all other realms known to mankind. Put on your adventuring gear and traveling equipment everyone, you're about to enter a world on the brink of the very apocalypse itself. Can you and your brethren, be of mer, or fur, have the strength to purge the world of the darkness that is on its way to besiege it? Or will you be forced to live in an apocalyptic society run by the forces of evil? Perhaps even be slain in the action of it all? Pick a side for yourself in the action of these exciting times, and see if you happen to have the strength, courage, and the willpower to tip the scales in your sides favor... either plunging the two, potentially three worlds into eternal darkness... or becoming the savior of all, casting the darkness back into the cesspit from which it once came.

Name: Tekros

Age: 19

Species: Demon

Description: White Hair, Black Fur, Long Black Tail, Combat Shoes covered over with Tight Dark Blueish-Black Track Pants, Two Flaming Horns on head, White Fur Markings on face, Blue Eyes, 6 Feet Tall.

Personality: Very laid back, likes to joke around, doesn't take things too seriously, loves to adventure, has a good heart but will simply follow orders if compelled to, is not inherently evil like most demons, has a weakness for pastries and other delicious snacks, incredible fighter though lacks real world experience, smells like roses on a hot summer day, is unaffected by the heat (of any temperature), is 100% fire and burn proof.

Background: Tekros is a demon hailing from the furthest depths of Tartarus. Although born a typical demon, Tekros was born with a blue flame in his demonic heart rather than a red one, changing the overall personality and character that he is. Tekros can see things from the standpoint from both sides of any situation, and has the uncanny ability to read others thoughts, and emotions, especially more-so the closer the bond is with that person. Tekros is secretly quite shy, and although he may have enlisted with the demonic military, he has only done so for the chance to escape his dull, boring, simple life of living as one of Hell's inhabitants, and to travel to other lands in the hope of starting a new, much simpler life for himself. Tekros has never had a passion for torturing the souls of the fallen as per most demons, such as his little brother Kruzikel, who has always wanted to kill someone, or something for himself.

Skills: A variety of psychic powers, such as telekinesis, clairvoyance, telepathy, and one of few to perfect teleportation, as well as the ability to manipulate and create fire, and lightning, can use a variety of different curses and spells drawing on ancient forbidden powerful magics that would kill a human to cast. Tekros is also a powerful enchanter and can enchant objects with curses, or simply common spells for conventional use.

Inventory: 1 bar of blood soap, a half eaten ghost pepper sandwich on blood-baked bread with crunchy pill bug innards and giant centipede legs in hot sauce, a back-scratching stick made from one of the native ever-burning trees in Hell, (hot to the touch, but will soothe the itch better than most back-scratchers), a military grade necronomicon, Latest copy of the magazine, "Hell O' And Welcome!" A scrunched up singed note, 3 vials of "Soul Essence" from the River Styx, (a drink for demons, also potion material), a talking bagel named Vermilion.

Fears: Heights, holy water, the Gods, board games, (don't ask but there is a good reason why), angels, humans, meeting Kronos, meeting new people, ending up like Vermilion, (being bagelized), and losing his little brother Kruzikel in the war that he fears will come to follow...

Age: 15

Species: Nomad Bio-bot

Description: Helpful at the best of times and helpful at the worst. Always friendly, unless aggravated. Bio-bot mentality gives him many capabilities.

Personality: Similar to Description.

Background: Was taken over as a Bio-bot at a very early age. Now travels around the world, looking for trace energy signals to steal.

Skills: Can summon up to 100 kiwis at a time. Also, can use energen, which magic is a branch of, to do extraordinary things (like fly of blast water, all by just manipulating the energen) but has a limited store of it. 100% is the max, the bio-bot system derives the energen off of it whenever it uses it to power energen spells and to power the system itself. Which means, if percentage drops to 0%, ThunderVolt collapses and is temporarily incapitated until a energy source is nearby to charge him. Magic can efficiently do this. The energen battery is huge, though. Also has a Kinetik battery, that serves as endurance. This goes to 0%, ThunderVolt collapses. But this can only recharge over time.

Inventory: Only a 10% charged battery at the time, and nothing else.

Fears: Beings more powerful than him, strangers, running out of energy, energen modulators being damaged, death, explosives, somebody not human, keidran, basitin, or bio-bot (like demons, Tekros.) and finally, being alone.

Name: Sarnak Jahar (Sr.)

Age: 22

Species: Canis superior (Humanoid wolf, non-keidran)

Description: Sanding at 6'2, and weighing in at 185 lb, no denying Sarnak is a big guy. He is typically clad in his brown bomber style jacket and jeans, but has been known to wear a two-piece suit when it was strictly necessary, or his work uniform for Aries Security. His fur is a mix of charcole gray and deep brown, with a pale underbelly, while his hair is a dark brown with traces of red. His left ear has a notch in it from a fight back in school. His eyes constantly remind people of the gunslinger in old western movies.

Personality: Brash, outgoing, and quick to anger, Sarnak has been finding himself in fights for years. After several years of court-mandated anger management, he has a bit more control and can function in society, but he still feels what he calls "the rage of the beast" inside of him. He does however, have a protective instinct a mile wide, and will throw himself in harms way to protect his friends, few and far between though they may be. Has a strong affinity for alcohol.

Background: Sarnak grew up in a lower class part of town, living below the poverty line until he got his job at the security company a few months ago. He never really saw the ocean or the woods until he was an adult, and by then, he far preferred his concrete jungle to any where else. He has led a rough life of fights in school, on the street, and even against his own father at home. Sarnak frequently would steal food for his family, but the crime he got caught for was beating up someone who wanted to take food from one of his few friends. After he got out of Juvi, he stayed on the straight and narrow, but has been known to be needed walked to the door at the bar for getting too rowdy.

Skills: Yelling at coyotes (Joke). Marksmanship. drinking. Sarnak has become a master of street and bar fighting over the years, even going toe-to-paw with a couple of black belts. He was recently certified to carry concealed. He has developed his skill of situational awareness to a degree normally seen in highly trained soldiers thanks to years in the ghetto.

Inventory: Colt .45 pistol (10 rounds), S&W folding knife, a kit of travel soap a small mirror and a comb, a canteen, and a few MRE he picked up for a dollar for being a month past their date.

Fears: Open water, beings taller than 7 ft or heavier than 300 lb, dense forest, unprotected flame, SWAT units and heavy armored knights.

of this roleplay, as this is a roleplay, and not just a story.

2. If a character of yours dies, they are DEAD, unless brought back through some sort of scientific, supernatural, or other reasonable means in regards to the race of your character. Period.
