Joint post between myself and MP, may or may not require further editing tomorrow. (The introductions were kind of shoehorned in, for instance.) But for now it's late and MP in particular needs sleep.

Is everyone alright? We all get busy sometimes, but I'd be a bit miffed if the RP got cut short for what feels like little reason.

I'm simply waiting for a reply. At least Geo's next post before moving on.

I am almost done with my post, but it will be an event changer. So whatever you wish to post, post it now. I am probably going to post it tomorrow.

Edit: I am going to apologize for: one, not updating sooner as I previously said; and two, for completely ham-fisting this situation and brushing off certain aspects of character interaction with a scenario to scoot this along a bit.

You do not need to fight to the bitter end, your main objective is leaving the town; your secondary can be to help as many people as you can leave as well.

Hey Geo, your latest post contains a very tiny timeskip, right? The post seems to suggest that we may have moved about for a few minutes before the assault on the town, but I could be wrong.

Yes a very small timeskip. It is the same day and only a few minutes have past. If you moved about or stayed in the same location, that is up to you and your peers.

I believe the plan is that myself and a few others are also joint-posting. We'll try to get it up soon.

Pre-approved, just spent wayyyy too much time trying to make it more coherent.

Image
Appearance: Brown hair, silver 'highlights', bright blue eyes the same color as her flames. Her clothes are brown, the pauldron-type shoulder pads are Steel-like in nature. When she has scales from either a spell, or when visible, they're a soft bluish silver.

Parts of her body are always scaled, such as on her neck and wrists, but the rest are under her clothes; her shoulders and upper arms have scales winding down her biceps. Her thighs are coated in them on the outside, and the entirety of her spine, with a few little strains of scales going outward. On her back are two large scars just below the shoulder blades. She has no idea what the scars are from, as she's had them since before being taken by the Cazador.

(I drew her. ^^ )

Usually wears a thick, brown robe to hide her features.

Name: "Rana" is the name shes taken for now.

Race: ??? (Ancient; no Modern direct translation)

Gender: Female

Equipment: Her clothes are in an ancient style, but are only slightly battle worn. She wears a robe over herself for obvious reasons of hiding her more non-human features.

Skills: Flame Breath - She can breath bright blue flames that burn hotter than normal flames. The strange part of this is that the flames are completely under her will. However, it will not do anything to those she consider friends or allies. She has a faint idea of how to cause her to use it.

Cooking - Amnesiac - She knows how to cook meat...Somewhat. Almost always comes out much like charcoal on the outside, but seems to like the taste anyway.

Heightened Abilities - Well, what it says on the tin. Has excellent eyesight, smell, and hearing; Though, her smell is the strongest of them. Is pretty strong physically, rivaling a decently trained Slamen, and is very quick to learn if she focuses.

Scales as Shields - Her body has patches of incredibly strong scales capable of blocking steel. They feel leathery if you were to feel them; locations of her constant scales are under her description

Ancient Magics - Sometimes, she can use weird magic, but of course, like Fire Breath, has no clear idea how to trigger it at the start. She only has two abilities at the Moment that she can use:
-Ancient Arm: Her arms grow covered in scales(see: Scales as Shields) and her fingernails turn to claws of about equal strength as her scales.
-Flame Wings: She will project wings made out of fire and gain the ability to fly and glide for a short time.

Cold? I don't feel a thing - Due to her natural abilities and maybe her slight empty headedness, she tends not to feel cold or heat unless exposed for a while, even in her ancient wear.

Language Difference - She can't read modern writing nor understand modern speech that well, but can find similarities between them and her own natural tongue and translate it that way if she has a moment to think about the words. Think Latin to English in this sense. After a bit of speaking, she'll understand, but will still make small mistakes at times.

Personality: Very questioning and 'literal' in her current state. Will not recognize jokes and will take things very literally. Pretty gullible, on that same strand. The way she carries herself, though, can only be described as confident, almost royally so. Due to her amnesia, she is also a little more than fearless, approaching anything unusual as if it's a grand adventure.

History: The Ancient Slamen were called the "Ones who Built the Heavens with Fire", and this was...mostly true. There were many legends of the time and the most widely recited to give both fear and fame to the God of Men, Vulumen; Fall of the Great Traitor. Among the Dragons, there were 6 leaders. Dragon King and the Dragon Queen; who oversaw the dragons to keep them in line. The Father and Mother, who watched over new dragonlings. Then the Military and the Charity, Defense and Well Being. However, the 'Great Traitor' was the Mother. When the King and Queen requested additional builders at behest of 'the Great Vulumen', young dragons were used to build the heavens faster.

After seeing many children sent to help build the Heavens faster only to perish early filled her with rage at Vulumen. It wasn't long before a few others hated this and banded together. The god who created them were their target for rage. That Rage would be the downfall. While the Mother was preparing, one overeager Dragonkin wanted to confront the god himself. When dissatisfied, he attacked the God and fell in one blow. He was then made the seeds of some of the first of the Modern Slamen. The Mother didn't know that he'd still technically live through the future, but the death of one of her Little Ones enraged her while it scared all the others from trying open conflict.

She alone confronted the God, powered by her own heretic rage and she alone fought him for a long time fueled by that same rage. The bright blue clashes of her Fiery rage against his Power flashed across the heavens. But eventually, she too, fell. The god tore off her wings, took her power, and flung her to the Ground to 'pay', but really she was mean't to die. The Legend ends there, saying another Dragon was chosen as Mother and life continued profitably and gracefully. Until their fall, but that's another story, and one for another time.

However, the rest is known only to her. As she had used a combination of both her determination and her cunning to keep some of her powers, locking them away with her memories before hiding to leave herself in a cave for a long rest. And as she rested, she was using her body as a vessel and fuel; ancient magics bound to it by her to keep her soul strong.

This cave was the sleeping place of the one who challenged the god first. And she slept, her soul silently watching the outside world, using her old body to create a new body based on the world outside. And so it was built; her Bones shifting, her skin and meat became muscle. Her scales became her clothes. The rest dwelled inside her, becoming sustenance.

She did wake up eventually, easily walking down the mountain and finding a small town. People freaked out upon seeing her come down from the mountain, due to its harshness, but also maybe due to her spitting magical blue fire when being apprehended roughly for trying to eat some food she hasn't paid for, nor asked for (even though she did, just not in their language). She thought it was how she looked, so she took a cloak from a line on her way out and threw it on, thinking it was her looks that scared them rather than her breathing bright blue flames and nearly killing a town guardsman.

It wasn't long after that outburst of magic that the Cazador found her and she was put on the pilgrimage. She had no idea what was going on and was uncertain whether to ask them, but felt the answers to why they were doing it, and who she is, would reveal themselves eventually.

First things first? Ask someone to read the letter to her, slowly if possible...

Miscellaneous: Doesn't like her horns being touched without her permission and will get incredibly irritated when someone does, though she currently has no idea why personally, since her race considers them a prideful part of their bodies.

Made a slight edit to my most recent post; nothing too noticeable, just made Samos not use a forbidden magic in front of everyone. Also, properly addressed the timeskip.

Apologies for not posting. Have some ideas clinking around in my head but I haven't been terribly happy with any of them. Can guarantee a post before the end of the week, but if Geo wants to speed things along before then I can play catchup no problem.

EDIT: There, posted.
