What I miss most is the Four Cheese Pasta from Cheesecake Factory. Even the small serving would last me several meals, and it was phenomenal each and every time.

Re: Last Man Posting
I was never very fond of the cheesecake factory. Too expensive for my taste even if their portions are on the giant size of things.
Besides didn't food delivery services cover that restaurant?
I have been cooking at home I do not miss much the food from restaurants. I miss dinning with other people thought...

I have virtually no real social life. Never went out but I'd certainly prefer being able to go to college instead of taking online classes.

I liked restaurants for the atmosphere.

Re: Last Man Posting
Even if no real interaction occurs the proximity with other people feels nice.
We will experience the fallout of this zommester for years to come.
I am a bit embarrassed to admit it but that is why I like starbucks. I like the environment and atmosphere it provides. Couldn't care less about the coffee.

Re: Last Man Posting
Don't be embarrassed about that. Starbucks coffee has a reputation of just not being that great. Overpriced, to boot.
In all honesty, the best eatery atmosphere I've ever seen was, and hopefully will be again, the diner down the street from me. Booths and spinny bar stools, well worn from decades of use, vintage wallpaper, the specials are written on a chalk board.. It just feels so real. And it's not an act, either; most of the people there have been there for many years, or are related to people who have. I wouldn't dare go there now, because COVID, but there isn't a single thing about that place I could complain about.
Also, it's kind of a shame that when we're all old and frail, we'll be talking to the next few generations about all this.
"You kids have it all so easy. WE had to go through 2020, with COVID and Trump and the world being on fire and race riots!"
"There's NO way it was THAT bad."
*shows weather service "Firenado" warning* "It was worse."

I am not embarrassed about preferring starbucks ambience over it's coffee. I am a bit embarrassed about liking Starbucks at all.
Anyhow that seems to be the franchise concept. Ok/good overpriced coffee and a warm and nice environment to drink it, that is the part I like. Plus drinks with more sugar than water...
That seems like a nice restaurant. I honestly don't have a favorite eatery but I am partially fond of a local franchise...
I do hope we are able to tell our/your/their grandchildren how 2020 was awful and they have it so much better. As I sincerely hope they do not have to deal with worse.
By the way how did you get a photo of my car?
Wait no... mine is blue....

Happy 10 10 2020
If it moves but shouldn't: Duct tape. If it doesn't move but should: WD-40. With a hammer everything fits, and if it still doesn't fit: bigger hammer. If it can't be fixed with a hammer it's an electrical problem.

We are officially more than 75% of the way through the worse year of most of our lives.
