"A few years"? Just how many? I was out for, I'd say, more than a few...

Youtube indicated the first video was uploaded 5 years ago and for the looks of it. I am pretty sure this started as flash animations not youtube videos so they may even be older.
Incidentally Do anyone here remember newgrounds?

In any case I remember seeing this appear every couple in my radar so I might end up watching it this time.
For the first couple episodes this seems like the weirdest thing I seen in a while but I does seem interesting.
On a curious note I have never hear that much butchered náhuatl in my life

The first No Evil is from 8 years ago. And the creator does actually upload the episodes to newgrounds before she uploads them to YouTube.

And being fair it's not like they speak nahuatl lol. Betsy is just really into folklore and mythology.

8 years? I was barely a freshman back then....

In any case what I tried to say is that if anything it would be fun to hear all that mispronounced náhuatl. But alas it does come as meaner than I wanted to.

For what I have seen I can tell this is a work of love. She is clearly passionate about other cultures and cares about her source material. Of course she is just one person so mistakes might happen specially back then as information was not that widely available.
So color me impressed!

New works are still being made, with an increasing cast and converging plotlines and everything. Kinda boring at the beginning, though.

Worth.

Yeah after binging watching the whole thing I was pleasantly surprised that this is very much an ongoing project. In my expense people struggle keeping the same thing for more than a couple days let alone year's.

In any case I agree with Mr Bell the first episodes seems more like independent self contained animations. The author might have decided to retool what she had into a long term story after starting.

At then end I liked what I saw. It is a bit rough around the edges but it is still well crafted and interesting.
On a side note I am not used to hearing náhuatl an English on the same sentence and that is something that keep bugging me despite being actually well pronounced. The author clearly did her homework on this.

I really like it when creators use exaggerated stereotypes about the Dutch.

Honestly, I just stayed for the animation style. And Calamity, because she's hilarious. The story just kept improving, too.

Now that you mention it I do not know any Dutch stereotypes. Which is ironic considering one of my bosses is Dutch 🤔.

On a completely unrelated note, my '68 passed a state sticker the other day. Even though the inspector was actively looking for an issue...

Over half a century of wear and tear and New England roads, and she's still more solid than most everything half her age.
