Having a tree branch that would hold a full-size anvil, though... I could make some serious use out of that.

In most real life circumstances, that long journey begins with a step in the other direction. Usually to get to a car, or exit a door or something. :P

In my experiences the first half of a journey is figuring out where you actually want to go. The third quarter is trying to get there by going in a different direction and the final quarter is actually getting to your destionation.
