I choose... the green button... to see how deep the Fox hole goes... Or something like that

Considering the cultural impact of the matrix movies I should really watch them at some point or at least read a summary...

They're worth a watch. And it's "take the red pill, and I will show you just how deep the rabbit hole goes."

Fun movies. And a pretty decent mix of practical effects and CGI, too.

Oh I know they are good else we wouldn't be talking about them after almost 20 years.

But they are almost 8 hours of movies to watch i do not have that much (contiguous) free time. And even if I had it I am not sure I would like to spend that much time watching TV.

Fun fact: The word "Carnival" is based on the same latin word as "Carnivore", from back in the age where a Carnival was all about watching animals fight each other.

Didn't carnival come from latin carne vale Meaning leaving or not eating meat?

Most carnivals were held before lent when you are not supposed to eat meat. So such a name made sense. Over the years it transitioned from a Catholic celebration to a secular party but the name stuck

On unrelated news youtube decided to recommend me this Doom/ Hazbin Motel which reminded me of Mr Bellhead.

No idea why youtube and Facebook seem convinced i will like that cartoon.

That's been in my recommendeds for a long time. Personally I prefer the original Hazbin to Doomguy, several times over. Not that I dislike Doomguy, but moreso that Alastor is just such a character.

Now the Netherlands are going to get a 'lockdown'

Not a lot is going to change for me, busy as always.
If it moves but shouldn't: Duct tape. If it doesn't move but should: WD-40. With a hammer everything fits, and if it still doesn't fit: bigger hammer. If it can't be fixed with a hammer it's an electrical problem.

Yeah. "Lockdown" doesn't mean much when you're considered essential personnel.

Heavy blizzard? Two feet of heavy wet snow? Power out across the state? We need you to come in for a full day of work.

I am working as normal, in fact just had to work all over the weekend. but I winter break starts next week, hopefully, which is nice!.

I am a bit worried though. Here in Mexico we have almost maxed hospital capacity and yet I everyone, even the most judicious people, is traveling for the Christmas festivities. I dread to think what will January look like

Word just came down the chain. We're getting new logo'd work sweatshirts! Also I have to leave work early tomorrow so I can come in after closing to plow the whole property out with the help of one other person.

The head of the plow crew texted me. He's the other half of it.

Guess I'm gonna learn to plow tomorrow.

By plow you mean shoveling snow out of the property right?

Sorry I have not the first idea about what to when/if snows. Just that it can burst water pipes.

Also I doubt you meant you were about to change careers and become a farmer.
