It's loading slower than it's supposed to do.
If it moves but shouldn't: Duct tape. If it doesn't move but should: WD-40. With a hammer everything fits, and if it still doesn't fit: bigger hammer. If it can't be fixed with a hammer it's an electrical problem.

Maybe YouTube should be linked instead of embedded, then.

Re: Last Man Posting
Interesting, I use Firefox focus when checking the forum on mobile, it has a lot of baked in privacy features so it occasionally messes up some stuff, in this case the embedded video.
On my laptop thought the video loaded properly. Which is funny, my laptop environment is much more esoteric than my cellphone stock android.
I prefer not to embeds video in phpBB forums, as it tends to mess up the presentation and make navigation a bit harder.

Welp, still works better than file sharing does.

Re: Last Man Posting
Given the insistence that this feature does not works i decided to try it!
Ok so 256 KiB so that is not much. For comparison latest comic page (Dec-19-2020) is a little over 800 Kb. So that basically prevents most images made this past decade.
A pdf, maybe if it does not have much images. Nope rejects the extension.
So maybe a simple text file? Nope neither. Apparently it is set to only load image files. I can use one of those upscaled versions of the Raine emote i made early.
So did it work?
Nope
Complained about some quota being reached. If i Were a betting man i would say the plugin is enabled but not properly configured or set to 0 Bytes for all users.

Re: Last Man Posting
This is why most of us use file hosting instead of uploading here... It hasn't worked since I first arrived in these hallowed halls.
But it's not so bad. There are dozens of decent file and image hosting sites. A quaint old PHPBB forum doesn't need it that badly.

Re: Last Man Posting
Oh well back in my days phpBB did not even had that function.
You young whippersnappers have more free internet hosting space that you know what to use for! Back then we all had to use imageshack to upload our proto-memes. Back then it was free to use now it is a paid hosting.
Now you cap several GB of storage with only memes. We had to choose wether to install age of empires 2 or Microsoft word on our 30 GB drives!
That was sarcasm in case it was not clear

Re: Last Man Posting
Welp. Connected my old laptop to the internet for the first time in... several years.
Half an hour later, Adobe Reader has reached the update queue, Firefox 28.0 shows no updates available, and Windows says "error downloading updates, try again later".
Coming up on one hour after I plugged in the cable, and it's STILL doing stuff. wat.

The first time I tasted that weird pink salt that is all the rage on cooking circles i was surprised it tasted like normal salt.....
Lasted firefox version is 84 i think . What windows are you running? I think xp and vistas are eol and won't even receive updates.
Anecdotal eviden also show windows really does not like being off for long periods of time.

Re: Last Man Posting
That laptop is running 10. And it hadn't been run since 2018. It's been offline so long, that it can't even update anymore. Just some stupid error code. And though Edge won't load anything, and Firefox couldn't even load google, Internet Explorer was fully functional.
... so I used it to download the newest Firefox and I'm using that.
