I would define back in the day as the previous boards that based on googling closed in October 2008. Tho neither account was *that* active even then. Was googling my old tags and that's how I remembered this place exists!

Turns out my tag isn't very unique, shocker.

I'd never fallen more than a page or 2 behind in the comic, I just had started redditing more than using any forums.

Phpbb (the forum backend) has lost a lot of it's market share to more recent plataforms as reddit.
So the dip in user activity on this or any forum is to be expected

I like the bit of chaos and freedom Reddit brings. It's good for things that have new content daily. It's definitely harder to have an extended conversation on things tho.

I could not figure reddit UI to save my life, Tumblr is just too gen Z for me, i do not have a twitter account, well i have two but i never use them and Amino or Discord are chat based so they are different beast altogether.
What i am trying to say is that i am to old for that ...
