The dragons will. They got bored of watching the antics of the three races, and decided to cook up a way to leave. Rather than a conventional "warp drive" however, they settled on a space-time bending gateway that they could fly through with ease.

The one detail they didn't work out was setting the destination, so when they activated it, it resonated with the nearest structure of a similar size and shape. Unfortunately/fortunately for us, the closest structure of that nature was the St. Louis arch. Upon activation, a portal was opened between here and there. The dragons, dismayed that all they found from their efforts were more humans, performed a wide-area mind wipe and closed the gateway. Didn't affect me for some reason, which is why I'm writing about it. Had a chat with Nora too, by the way. You jelly?
