This reminds me when on a forums you linked 100 large resolution images on a single post.
It usually led to any seeing the post to a browser crash !

Not if you have enough memory.
I once had my computer at 80% memory usage because I opened such topics. And all the pages of that topic.

That were a lot of animated .gifs.

But having 32GB of RAM and not enough patience to load everything helps a lot (and yes, 100Mb fiber connection)

No, when I bought the hardware I thought 'It has to run for at least 8 years without big changes in the main hardware' (mainboard, CPU, GPU).

And memory was relative cheap 5 years ago. And if I buy something with the same budget today the computing power would still be comparable (thanks to the enormous rise in VGA prices)

I created a pecan pie that gives me a sugar rush. Which is a slightly higher state of energy than my usual fatigue.
Been around this forum for over 8 years now. Everyone I've known has left, now it's my time to do the same.

But was it also delicious? Or a case of 'too much sugar'?

Pecan pie is a delecate balance of candied nuts and self loathing.

Never had a "good" pecan pie. I have only tasted some industrialized imitation wich uses nut jelly and no i have no idea how they make that.

And I never had pecan pie in general. But not living in the USA helps.

Although I do see some recipes for it in Dutch, it is not totally unknown here.
