Why did you pick your screen name?

Just figured that since we have a "What does your avatar mean to you" thread there might as well be one about peoples names.

I got mine a long time ago... I think back when the show Zoids was on. It was the version with the shield liger (which later turned into a blade liger) that one little robot thing named Zeek... and that one girl. (i'm very descriptive aren't I?) Anyway I had this cool idea... what if I had a cool robot like that. What would it look like? (note I was kinda young back then ... I think right at pre teen if not after) So I thought up this cool robot thing... which i've started a 3d model for. Anyway I wanted to name it. I had been hearing the word "cyber" (refering digital stuff... I think theres another definition to cyber (which is probably spelled wrong to begin with) that i'm not talking about) and I kinda liked the start of the word so I took "Cy" I duno where I got "gron" from... I guess I thought it sounded cool aswell. But Cygron didn't have the ring to it I wanted so I kept going through letters till I thought I had one that sounded pretty good... thus I came up with "Tygron". That was the name of the robot, I liked it... I joined a forum about a game called Robot Arena 2. My origional name there was Zoid... although I didn't get the confirmation email untill a few weeks later... so I tried again... but this time with the name Tygron. It's been my online name ever since. I've varied it to make aim and yim accounts a while back (cause tygron was already taken) using tygron007 (cause I thought 007 games were good back then... now I think they are ok) and my first msn mail was tygron007 however... I later didn't like that (when I started playing halo) and made a new one as tygron117 ... since then tygron@live.com and tygron@hotmail.com have become availible... I belive I took both... and i'm going to switch my main msn to tygron@live.com sometime soon... after I call xbox support to make sure nothing will be lost on my xbox account.

So thats my story, anyone else got one?

EDIT: Just realized it made my emails into links... I wouldn't bother emailing me... it's not my main email... you may however send an msn messanger invite to tygron117@hotmail.com as i'm on that one frequently since i'm usually logged into msn on the xbox. Chat me up sometime... just leme know who you are.... I don't like random invites from peopel I don't know.

Dlemon was the last name of the main character of a book I'm currently trying to write. It's still in the brainstorming phase a bit as to the storyline. I really need to sit down and write it. *sigh*

It is a nickname I got in school based on my rareish surname: Pilsworth and the 10 came from the fact i joined runescape and there where 10 other Pillis one without a number in the name and a simlar case happend with youtube so it stuck But there are some places where i have no 10.

Hey! I was in that forum too before it was moved, screenname was "BotInventor" there, I also think that I remember your "Zoids" screenname from back then too...

I actually found "Sfris" as a random assortment of letters in a word search in my 8th grade science class almost 4 years ago, I thought it sounded nice, and Sefris grew out of that. I've stuck with it since.

I think I vaugly remember you... although I used Zoid for like ... 2 posts. (I was young and foolish.. wanted to sound funny so I had a short convo with myself... think that was one of my downfalls there)

One day I was trying to come up with a name for a character during one of my several attempts to write a book. But I'm terrible with coming up with names, so I just googled a list of names, and scrolled through until I saw "Driskoll". I thought that sounded kinda cool, but I didn't want to use a name that actually.... existed, so I chopped off the "oll" part and stuck with Drisk. I have no idea where Kayne came from, one day I just typed in Drisk as my username for a flash game, but it required your character to haveboth a first and last name. For some reason or other I typed in "Kayne" and ever since then Drisk Kayne has been my internet name.

Sithil is the alias I generaly use on the internet, or during other occations. However, in my earliest and more careful days here I went under the name: 'Whatever You Think Fits'.

I write fiction, but when I first started I could always get the first chapter out within a few days and the following ones would take ages. I initially went by "FirstChapter" but when I found out about FPS games, "FastChapter" seemed to fit better.

My name has been Wolfiet for quite some time, i chose it waaaaay back when runescape 1 was still around and it stuck from that point on
i guess i chose it cause i like wolves, i wish i had a name that could incorporate foxes as well though...
