Though I haven't read any of them yet (with exception to the "Tasteless Jokes 2" book my brother's reading out loud) we recently got a total
of 95 books from a friend of the family, they're all fantasy and sci-fi novels from the early to mid 1980's some of which have really neat cover
art but today I'd like to share with you some of the more... Odd ones that just might show how late 20th century anthro writers made a buck.
A lot of the books were by Piers Anthony and Alan Dean Foster.

Here is a photo all be a blurry one of the piles sorted by author: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vdpkc8pwm0g6o ... l.JPG?dl=0
A straight up smut novel to start things off, this thing looks like it was the predecessor to FurAffinity: https://www.dropbox.com/s/h0kdoicc3g9ne ... g.png?dl=0
Even an insect style <.< : https://www.dropbox.com/s/ce9zve3s2kkjy ... g.png?dl=0
"Amazonian tiger" ... Huh: https://www.dropbox.com/s/15b2r3u7jnmo7 ... g.png?dl=0
Not quite furry but those eyes... THOSE EYES O_O : https://www.dropbox.com/s/4d0n3e1oxocyl ... g.png?dl=0

There's also some neat cover arts in general though I couldn't possibly scan them all:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/wvocodqjul01c ... g.png?dl=0 I actually have 5 of the six volumes of this, 4 is missing...

Hmmm.
Don't see a whole lot of poetry around here so I'll post some.

Death
Because I could not stop for death
He kindly stopped for me,
The carriage held but
Just ourselves and
Immortality.

Don't remember if that is the correct title or who the author was, just remember the poetry.

Aonother of my favorite of mine is Invictus, words to live by if you ask me.

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.

By William Ernest Henley After having one leg amputated and another almost so.

-Tenno Heika Banzai.

Finished reading Huxley's Brave New World... 1984 from Orwell was a bit better I think :| Too much science fiction, I think!

I won't be able to read Brave New World Revisited because I need to read some polymer and other material science books for my final exams  :?

Fire.
And with it, man forged his will upon the world.
