From my understanding, that's not what being furry is about, but I guess there's that whole "no definite definition" thing, so everyone sees the dividing line in different places...
Ya, when I think of furry, I think of people who want to replace the human race with a bunch of Cats...

Yes I am but you guys are probably the only ones who know. Probably because I have a habit of not interacting with people in real life. (About time I posted here)

Hm, you'll find that most people here use a very different definition than that one. Generally, the deciding factor seems to be, "Are you attracted to this anthropomorphic cat/fox/wolf/etc.?" and the main difference between people is how much they're attracted to it, and whether they prefer it to a human. But human preference doesn't always mean someone doesn't consider himself a furry. *shrug* Sort of a "define it your way!!" thing.

That just made my day.
I'm no furry and I dont know any either. I dont actually have a clear defenition for furrydom though, my understanding of it is you prefer the anthropomorphic type then the human variaty or just like the style and art in particular.

Most definitely I am, I just haven't had the opportunity to do anything furry related.
No one asks or cares about it at my school. I'm open about it if anyone would care to ask. They don't. ._.
Of course, practically none know what a furry is...which would be work...

Depends on where you live I guess, I never heard of a furry until I got on these boards.

The internets gave me the term, but I was always one regardless. Wait...maybe it was CSI that gave me the term...that's sad if it's true.

I love reading sci-fi novels/short stories where people can have cool genetic alterations done to them for fashion in high society. I think I like sci-fi a little too much some days. I swear, i was born in the wrong era.

You and me both. What I wouldn't give to be a cyborg.

I am and I'm proud of that! I love works of both fantasy and science fiction. My latest read is West of Eden by Harry Harrison.

Did.... Did you just necro a post from over 8 years ago? This thread was 15 pages deep in the archive, how in the what in the who did you find this??? That's gotta be a new record for the board tbh.
While necro-posting isn't technically a written rule that you broke, it is pretty frowned upon by the mods to necro stuff that's been dead even for a single year without a really revolutionary new point to make. Please try to stay with the relevant threads friend. Heck, there's even another thread pretty much exactly like this on the very first page that you could have posted this affirmation in anyways...

BlaineRosenthal, please try to restrain yourself to commenting on active threads. If a thread hasn't gotten a post in over a month, you probably don't want to post in it. Topics that are active -- that people are still posting in relatively recently -- are going to be better served by your contributions and your fellow commenters will be better equipped to appreciate your thoughts. Inactive or dead topics shouldn't be revived just to add one's two-cents.
Thank you
