Bah, suppose that was pushing it.
Actually, you're not really pushing it. Most furries I've come across stick around for the porn or got involved because of such. The majority of those who don't stick for that reason tend not to be furries but actually Transhumanists who have lost faith in humanity as it currently stands and saw Furries first as an alternative.
It's very few Furries I meet who aren't in the community either because they like to 'yiff' or have some disgust with humanity. Barring this forum, of course - this place is the biggest outlier in the Furry community I've come across.
Point is that most of the Furries would become quite quiet if Yiffing was somehow made impossible, Furry Pornographic Art (not tasteful nudity, straight-porn) was banned, etc. If some event happened that made humanity shine in a very bright light of hope, the numbers would dwindle further until probably only 15-20% of the community was left in the end.

The closet to me is like a steel concrete reinforced set-to-go-off-if-I-even-think-of-blowing it open.....closet.
When I plan to come out, I plan to come ROCKETTING OUT.
Do you like the idea because you find the hybrid interesting, you feel them superior to human, or about the same reason others like Dwarves / Fairies / Elves (they're different)?
Human (n): Susceptible to or representative of the sympathies and frailties of human nature.
Loud & Proud Humanist. Malignant to Misanthropes.
