I have a thing for old-school technology, it fascinates me how things were done before we all had supercomputers in our pockets. So I tend to collect things that I find interesting.

For example: this clock is made from nixi tubes that were made around the time of the cold war. This is how they did digital clocks back then. It is sitting on top of an oscilloscope from the 1970s. It is technically my dads, but he was never going to use it again, so I took it off his hands haha.

I also find it amazing that so much sound can be captured and replayed using nothing but tiny waveforms pressed into a vinyl disk. So I also collect records. I guess that might make me a bit of a hipster, but at least I had music to listen to when I broke my external hard drive with all my music on it.

If my tenure in acadamia counts, then apparently I collect massive amounts of debt :P .
Man can live 30 days without food, 4 days without water, and 8 minutes without air. But man cannot live a single second without hope.

I used to collect quartz stones. I filled a small garden with them before I had to move to a different house.

My roommates and I have a shelf dedicated to empty vodka bottles... I guess it's technically a collection haha. The shelf is more or less full now so we just recycle them now...

I collect pressed pennies. Pretty much only from places I've visited/gone on vacation to. Fun fact: I still haven't got one from the place I first started this collection, since the machine in the building i was in was broken and we didn't have time to go through the whole tour again to get the one at the beginning. I still have the penny I was going to use for it, however.

I've got one filled, and need to get another for these others I have laying around. Granted, I probaably only have about one and a quarter trifolds worth total, but hey.

Now that I have money, I've started collecting anime. So far I have Death Note and the three Golden Age films for Berserk. Next is Full metal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Cowboy Bebop, two of my all time favorites. A few others on a list to pick up if I see it for a reasonable price.

I suppose I also still collect CDs, if that counts. A lot of digital music, but I still buy physical when I can. I also have four guitars, does that count as collecting? Maybe if they're expensive (these aren't).

Also, the TK books. Day one as soon as I find out the art book and Volume 3 are for sale.

The Nope is strong with this one.

And Kia, that is a LOT more than I ever thought you had. I mean, wow...

Imma just nope over to my collection of unsharpened pencils found in random places, that has no duplicates. It's up to something like 30, all different, all unused.
