There is a difference between typical and stereotypical. And I can't believe I mispronounced my own 'sona's name. I've only been using it for 8 YEARS!

Certainly, by typical I meant I was comparing your voice to those known Texans, which measured up quite well. (Roosterteeth is pretty helpful with that.)

You were significantly lacking in your passion for oil and guns in your piece to send you over to stereotypical, but I might just be wrong in my assumption of what those words actually imply... :potatoes:
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

And the stereotypical "YEEEHAW" and "Howdy, y'all" were both absent. And the stereotype has a much thicker accent. Trust me, I live here, I know. I know people who actually talk like that.

I might as well. Second time's the charm, right?
Turns out the simple task of "talking into microphone" was a bit harder than it should've been.

Yes, I legit wrote myself a script for two whole sentences, at most. Go me.

Awww, yes, yes, of course of course. Brings back memories.

You don't sound too off from what I think, but you're a little more quiet than expected. Probs is because you're trying to not [censored] up reading what you're saying. You sound like an announcer for some medicine commercial, though. :P

Better than a head cold, at least.
I'm totally not still bitter about that, by the way.

Edit: Also, I had myself a proper microphone this time.

I actually did wrote a script for what I want to say :p otherwise I'd end up pausing a lot to think of what I want to say.
Just haven't found a time to record my voice alone.
So far you, jahar. And frogsteaks sound pretty similar to me.

Says the guy that thinks every American so far has sounded completely the same. (Which honestly isn't that far off, but obviously there are some accents at play here.)

But, hey, I grew up in middle California, and Spero grew up (I think) in the corner of Nevada that is basically California. It isn't too far off to think that we sound alike.

And, yeah, too short, whatever. Most people here are only giving one or two sentence long snips anyway. Do what you can with what you have. :P

I'm form Austria but yes: German is my first language ^^ (I'm quite good at writing, reading and listening to English but I could do with some more practice at speaking :3)

welp, turns out it was 59 seconds worth of speech
so yeah, here's mah voice, it was pretty late and all of my family are asleep so after a lot of failed attempts i finally got myself to speak normally.

anyway, what i think of some of your voices,
schradieck has a much higher voice than what i expected from his photos
bon's voice sounds like how i imagine scotts would sound like, butter's accent is way thicker, but still his voice is pretty cool :P .
midnight sounds like a pretty confident guy
puredeathly definitely sounds german for me.
still can't distinguish between most of the american guys here. maybe it's because i wasn't born there so everyone just sounds american to me
