I found this thigamajiggy through a comic suggestion on Facebook when I was on another webcomic page. There is also something else I found online earlier regarding TwoKinds which is quite insulting...brute criticisms from Alex Barry and Cody Baier of the anti-fanfiction website Project A.F.T.E.R. during the time this comic was still in its infancy sometime around 2006. I won't post the link, but you can find it through web searching. Most on here have probably already seen the articles, and it's probably been mentioned on these forums in the past. Therefore, I won't go all out on this issue. The two seem to be wannabe big shots looking for world domination of webcomics in a "manly" fashion. Anyways, TwoKinds is still going strong despite that crap. I could care less about critics as there will always be people who will read the stories, watch the programs and movies, listen to the songs, visit places among other things no matter what others think about them. Everyone has the right to their own opinions and interests.

OK, that's enough "soapboxing" for now.

By the way, another redundant query...big "K" or little "k" for the comic title? I've seen it done both ways online, but I don't think it would really matter regardless.

You'll also see 2kinds, Two Kinds, and even Two|Kinds, depending on how deep you delve

Says Twokinds on the forum banner and the main site title, and that's good enough for me.

I found a user by the name of two kinds on deviant art, I checked him out because his profile pic looked cool. I proceeded tof read all 500 pages of the comic, in about four hours. When I had started it was already late, and by the end I was laughing even when it wasn't spotted to be funny, we'll I guess sleep deprivation will do that. I cane back once I was firing on all four cylinders, then re-read a few pages. Still loved it.

I just found it in randomized Google Images searches, mostly under "Related Images." Full story can be found in my opening entry on my introductory Newbie Board topic.

Yeah, I did a speed run through the comic myself. 19 hours straight . Waiting for new pages at first was unbearable XD.

19 hours? i read the entire thing in 5 hours ending at 4am

I remember when I found an artist on Deviantart who made a webcomic (called Off-white) which had a banner in the links section for lots of other webcomics. After traveling from comic to comic in this fashion, I finally came across a banner for Twokinds. Being an older banner, I wasn't too drawn to it, but after a while I realised that I'd never given the story a read. So I did

This one is a really good question because I never really got full interest on Twokind, including webcomics in general. But when I first read it I got really judgmental on it. I thought the comic was sexual, I thought it was cliche, I thought it was stupid, and the list goes on. But by the time I was a senior I gave it a fair shot. And by surprise I really like it. The story is interesting, the characters are great, the work is creative, and while some of the villains aren't that interesting in my type, it doesn't convince me that the comic is really fun to read. And if it was wasn't for Twokind, I probably won't be reading other comics as well.
So here is my lesson here.
1.Don't judge a book by its cover
2.Don't be judgmental in an unfair way
3.Think before you answer

I found Twokinds in 2012. I had recently finished reading Better Days by Jay Naylor (if you havent read this i highly recommend it) and wanted to find another furry comic that i could enjoy. I looked around on multiple websites for recommendations and multiple were recommending Twokinds. I started it and was a little weary of the 1st page because of the quality of the art but that was quickly subdued as i looked at the current page which had obviously progressed. I caught up to the most current page at the time which was chapter 14 around when Kat expressed her feelings for Eric . After the few years i have really enjoyed the story and character development mostly in Natani . and hope to see more relationships build as the comic progresses. x x

After a long hiatus, I decided to check an online comic I had read with enthusiasm at one point: Mystic Revolution by Jen Brazas.

I found out that the author had decided to take a long break. I wondered whether it would be a good idea to actually continue where I had left a few years ago; back then, the plot had more or less stopped for a while to give room to gameplay mechanics related jokes. Since I haven’t played MMORPGs myself, returning to that part felt just a bit too heavy for my tired mind. Maybe I’d give it a shot on some better day, and sooner or later I’d reach a point when there would be character development and romance and plotting behind the scenes and and and... (I still love your work, Jen, although I highly doubt you’ll ever read this.)

So then I noticed an ad banner on top of the MR webpage. An ad banner with character designs that spoke to me.

It had been a good while since the last time when an online comic had been able to absorb me, but I decided to take a look. The ad link did not take me straigth to the webcomic itself, so I turned to Google and Wikipedia, although the latter did not help this time.

So I found myself reading some fantasy slapstick created by... wait, a high school student?!

Said high school student had possessed the skill of making at least some of the main characters expressive enough to call forth WAFF and other things I like to feel. That means very much to me, so I stayed. Did something else, then returned to the comic... Little by little, saw how the high school student grew up into an artist who mastered drawing, coloring, and composition. Started to realize how, since the very first years, he had been planting the seeds of a huge vine of stories and character relations, comparable to such fantasy epics as "Bone" by Jeff Smith. And saw him addressing most serious and controversial themes with admirable courage, notable learnedness and increasing skill – all this while never giving up the warm humor he had started with.

I read all available pages within two or three days, making it a rather different experience from how I rationed "Megatokyo" (by Fred Gallagher and Rodney Caston) to make it last upon discovering it years ago. Yet I sort of relived, in a sped-up form, many of the feelings from those good old days. Even though I have changed as a person myself, and had been afraid that no comic could ever have a similar effect on me any more.

That is how I discovered Twokinds.

(I could drop more names from my more active comic-fan years, such as "Rice Boy" by Evan Dahm, but I’m afraid this is already out of proportion. Thank you if you cared enough to read.)

I came across the Twokinds on youtube and then found out it was a webcomic and read it about 3-4 times.

Well, friends have been pestering me to go through and read it for quite some time now and I've never really gotten around to doing it. I've always been hesitant when it comes to comics as I didn't really grow up reading any and I've always struggled for time to keep up to date with things.

I finally gave in and visited the website and started reading. (Still reading, page 121 as of this moment.)

It's odd really, something about this comic draws me to it. Normally I decline when people tell me to go read something I'm not interested in - but with the more research I did I couldn't help but start.

e621 is worse than meth.

Strange story.

My brother, out of all people, told of it to me and said I should read it. I read two of the pages at the very end and then ignored it until I decided to read the whole thing.

Took me three days and my head hurt. Then I stopped reading it for two or so years and came back because this broken mindset of mine thought it was a good idea. Now it's the only thing I think of 60% of my day.
