Anyone coming down to San Diego for comic con? If you guys are, do you want to try to meet up and have a little forum meet and greet? It could potentially be fun after all the awkward hellos.

Wish I could, but I lack the time, money, and motivation to fly clear across the country and back.

Also, it would be cool to have some sort of meet up, but it seems many of us are pretty well strewn about from one another. Hell, is there even another forumite who lives in the same state as me?

I wish I could! Unfortunately even under normal circumstances I have no way of getting to San Diego, but during this Comic-Con I'll be in France!

I'd absolutely love to go to Comic Con, but it'd be difficult getting there. If I drove, it'd be about a 8.5 drive, so you can see why.

We're living 2556 miles apart (in a straight line, more like 3167 miles by road), so while I'd love to attend SDCC, I doubt I'll be able to

I plan on being there if anyone can actually make it. I live not too far from the convention center. I'm only here until November so I'm hoping I can at least roam the outside since I couldn't score a ticket.

If anyone's in the Sacramento or Stockton area when hell freezes over and Tom realizes that there is more to California than the northern tip of Mexico.... come and find me.

I can completely empathize with this. As I've already said, it's about 8.5 hours from the Bay Area to SD for me.....and that just bugs me.
