After two whole years to the day. I'm back.

I came out to two people who care about me as transgender. I was really scared, but they accepted me. I guess I'm coming out to everyone here too.

USAF was my first career choice many years ago, but an accident killed that for me. Do you have any ROTC time, BSA, or college credits giving you an enlistment boost, or are you just starting as an E-1?

I did Army JROTC in Germany. I kept the certificate so I'm going in as E-3.
Wth my scores and various other stuff I did, I had legit any job I wanted. So now it's just a waiting game

Spent the last 10 hours floating down the river with some family and a couple buddies. Watched a couple cliffdivers, played a bit of volleyball, joined a pirate gang, and got to see a pair of wild ponies playing together in some shallows.

I am more than a teensy bit sunburned, but totally worth it.

Last December, an online buddy that of mine that I played with regularly stopped coming online rather suddenly. I learned from a mutual friend that due to a misdiagnosis and treatment, he had become deathly ill and was in the hospital contemplating going home with hospice, or undergoing surgery with very bad odds.

He took the surgery and thankfully made it, but has been recovering incredibly slowly. He's basically been one or two steps from total life support for much of the recovery due to various organs shutting down.

This last week however, he has become healthy enough that he's completely free from everything and it's just down to physical therapy to get him comfortably functional again.
