Man can live 30 days without food, 4 days without water, and 8 minutes without air. But man cannot live a single second without hope.

I just found an awesome name which got me considering if I should try and get my name changed here.
The name in question is 'Valbrandur' which translates to 'Choice sword'.
Time for some hard thinking.

Re: What made you smile today? Round 2!
I was walking home from something right, and it was warm outside. Too warm. So I decided to make up a haiku about how I missed winter.
Winter.
*ahem
Deep blue chilly night,
Landscape covered pure white,
I miss your icy kiss.
I'm surprised I did it randomly walking home though,

Go figure.
Heck, I gave up soda, potato chips, and most sugar and I STILL got fatter. Only by a few pounds but still, this is negative progress.

That reminds me of this joke comic by tom with flora and trace, but i'd doubt that chu would even dream of such things...Ignis_Solus wrote:When i first saw that, this was the first thing i could think of.isk84waffles wrote:

Re: What made you smile today? Round 2!
Today, I sat in a classroom (badly) playing/learning "Welcome home" on the keyboard for a class assignment in multi media. (A loud class day, so not may took notice.)
"Welcome home" doesn’t sound so good on a keyboard, I'll tell you that much right now, but when someone pulls out a guitar (acoustic) and two kids run off to the band room to get their instruments (electric guitar and bass), you don't worry about the keyboard so much anymore.
We played “Welcome home” and “Chop Suey” for the teacher/class, then topped it off with “Drunken Lullabies” for St. Patty’s day.
No, I am not good at any of these songs, but my friend said it was entertaining to watch me franticly try to keep up.
Full credit plus bonus points. YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
