No there isnt such a thing-- there is Parody-- but a parody has to make fun of it - like Thumb Wars, but it cant use the same names and it has to constantly make fun of it-- and going too far can cause different lawsuits for copyright infringment as well as possible slander or libel charges. Fanfics are illegal - fan art is illegal etc etcBuurman wrote:@Sage: But isn't there something like "the right to ridicule" or anything like it, which basically enables you to make a fanfic/parody/whatever of any type of material as long as you don't claim anything to be yours when it isn't (the setting, the characters whom weren't thought up by you, the local history, whatever)?

Darn, I was hoping since I was being formal in that and using technical/leagal jargon it will help. My brain was almost wiped out by writing that!
But anyway, I guess I will have to ask Tom...I really don't want to bother him though.

A good friend will bail you out of jail, no matter what the cost.

Getting off the topic of legality and stuff, I am gonna have to agree with senzu. The continuity is at most uneasy to follow, but that's about it. The only other thing i can complain about isn't really the comic itself, but just having the fanarts, MiniKinds, and such mixed together in the archive. Perhaps separating them would make it more organized, but then again, I wouldn't know.

Book
It needs a map... one that can be clearly seen. I could do one, and have you tell me what you think...
what about making E-book?
just a though
i would pay for the commic to be made (COLOR PLEASE you would lose so much to B/w) as an E-book (because paper get distroyed around my house) i would pay hapilly because i know how much effort goes into these books. this would solve (some) of the costing problems that occur when printing in color and allow easy "shipping" to any contrie that has heard of 2kinds , i also know that people like hard copys but if the setting out is corect, if they want thay can print it at home.
hope my argument makes sense

Being me..... Lazy old me..... I cannot read this whole thread. Really, I don't have the time. So if this has already been asked, forgive me.
How much will it cost, and when does it come out?
Thanks for the time,

Of his bones are coral made;
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that does fade,
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange."
