Importing Videos Into iTunes

Someone please assist. I know the whole put it in Library and then convert to iTunes format thing, but that doesn't work for me.

Id suggest Videora Ipod Converter. Covers alot of file formats and codecs and makes it compatible with many ipod generations and models.
