Ok. I've been having some issues with my computer lately.
It all started when my Dad, love him to death but sometimes he really bugs me, decided that our computer was running too slow. So he tried to download a windows update for it. It froze halfway through download. (I suspect it was too new.)
Anyways, we had to Force Kill the computer. (Hold the power button for 10 secs.) Now it's all jacked up. It won't let us log off or turn off using the menus; we can only turn it off using the same force kill method as before. Microsoft Word freezes up for no reason, if I try to save something I found online while on a webpage it freezes. Mom and Dad can't access thier Bresnan hosted e-mail.
Can anyone help?
