Mac Finder Background

#1 Post by k4z0 »

Well first of all this is a mac topic, please don't start a whole argument about wether which OS is the best, so please don't.

Well i just learned a few things accidently about the Finder. I just found out a way to change the background of my finder window, look:
Image

This is what i did if u want to know:
1. click on the Actions menu
Image
2. select show view options
Image
3. then u can select an image

i think its cool i just set it up and also hit use as default button to set it for all the folders.

Hope you guys/girls who have a mac think its cool and want to do it. i like the fact that now i can change the image, and im gonna keep it as this flora img for a while cause it looks cool.

If you change your Finder background post it here to let us see.

If you are going to u can use the shortcut: commad + shift + 4 + space (and u can release after u press it) then select the window u want to take a screen shot of and it will.

firefoxattack sent me a link to some old 2kinds imgs that tom drew. i just liked that one cause it was simple without lots of color so its still easy to view the icons. if u want it i can send it to u.

Wouldn't you have been better off PM'ing k4z0 than posting in a topic that's a month and a half old?
