Fallout 2 on Windows 7 32-bit

#1 Post by Akira110 »

I got Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics as part of Good Old Games' deal over christmas(They sadly no longer offer these gems, which is tragic, but not the point). Fallout 1 and Tactics works BEAUTIFULLY on my Windows 7, I suffer absolutely NO issues with the games, no gameplay glitches or color errors at all, but when I play Fallout 2 and I hit the windows key, nothing happens. So when I hit Alt-Tab, to tab out so I can look at the character creation guide, since I don't have a manual and so that I'll have some idea of what the hell kind of character I want to actually play. None of my windows are there and my start bar is gone, anyone know how I can fix this, so that I can play the game properly?
Been around this forum for over 8 years now. Everyone I've known has left, now it's my time to do the same.

I know you saw me post this in the skype chat, but for the sake of helping others who may also have this problem:

Hit CTRL+SHIFT+ESC

choose start new task from the task manager

Type in EXPLORER.EXE

Everything should pop back up and you should be right as rain.
Hoped this helps.
