How do I get around this?

Before you ask:

* Yes, it's DVD-RW.
* No, I'm not stealing Windows 7.
* Yes, I tried it on other DVD-RW drives.

Uh, "BD-ROM" drive seems to give the clue: It may very well be a blu-ray reader+cd/dvd reader, but NOT a cd/dvd writer. I found my own cheap blu-ray drive is that way.
