I start, and the archives start flipping through in one direction or the other (generally to the other end) so fast that I can not read the comic.
I have firefox 3.6.15, Mint flavor of Ubuntu Linux.
I can supply other things, and
just now killed off a few firefox add-ons to see if that could help.
Help
Ok just got out of firefox and back and it is still happening.
I have the following addons active: xmarks, fastestfox, stumble upon, addblock plus, bandwidth meter.
Again, help
Activated NoScript, blocked Keenspace, now I can see the pages and they do not jump to the next.

Re: can not view archives
Stuck mouse button, maybe? The pages are pretty static, there isn't much outside of the ads that has any scripting to go awry. Disable all your ad-ons and see if you still have this weird behavior. If not, enable add-ons one by one to verify. If so...Well, I'll have to ponder that one. Try another browser maybe. Konqueror or some such.

Re: can not view archives
I'd assume it's an add-on or stuck key; I just checked the code myself and cannot find anything that could/would change the page in the code.
Also, I'm running FF4.2A1(Nightly) on Ubuntu myself
