quickly recovering from the blow, Judah immediately catches a glance of the half of a charred table leg coming his way and immediately parried it to his side, once again using the opponent's momentum against him, causing him to stagger forward and trip over. "come one Judah, focus!" he thought to himself. The Rookie wrote:The wolf rises as quickly as he fell, promptly grabbing a the other swordwolf’s discarded blade. He underestimated his opponent, and refuses to make that mistake again.kiabugboy wrote:He grabbed the cross guard of the sword, pulling it away from his direction while at the same time placing his left foot on the Wolf's chest, and with one swift move he snatched the sword out of his hand, while using the same momentum, kicked the wolf back, sending him hurdling into a stack of barrels.
The blow came from the second spear wolf, who’d been forced to make do with a burning table leg after his commander disarmed him earlier. He’d flanked around to Judah’s right during his entanglement with the sword wolf and was attempting to catch the leopard off guard.kiabugboy wrote:Judah quickly flipped the sword around to grab it properly, with both hands close to his hips in a defending position, scanning for anymore threats.
Judah was about to dash back into the cover when suddenly, he felt a powerful wooden blow and was pushed back quite a distance.
The table leg catches Judah on the side, but luckily the wood hard largely burnt away to carbon at the point of impact, causing it to shatter on contact and cushion the blow somewhat.
With Judah injured slightly, the other wolves decide to rush in and take him while he’s dazed.
Three on one hardly seems fair.
Judah turns around anticipating the wolf to get back up and attack, but as he does so he felt a sharp slice on his upper arm
"Argh!"
it was the previously fallen wolf, thrusting his secondary dagger at him, luckily he was still dazed by the previous blow as he missed completely and only managed to cause a light cut on Judah's arm. in an instinctive reaction, Judah turns around, away from the dagger's thrust and towards the attacker, unknowingly smashing his sword's pommel on the side of the wolf's head.
Judah was clearly struggling with multiple foes attacking him at every side that he didn't notice the last wolf, the other sword wielder already on his right side swinging his sword vertically to slash open his head.He didn't have enough reaction time to block the attack and could only close his eyes shut as he raised his sword up to somehow stop the imminent blow.
CLANK!
the sound of the attacker's sword clanking against metal was heard, but it is not from Judah's sword...
He opened his eyes to see his mentor right beside him, using his trusty cane sword to stop the wolf's blade from hitting the snow leopard, showing an expression of anger that Judah has never seen before in his entire life
"can't an old man just get his bloody nap..."
and with that line uttered, Percy blindingly pulled out a dagger underneath his robe, jamming the elegant ornate piece of weapon to the wolf's throat
