It is a sad fact of life that people see things in a very limited way. Sure, the pair of thugs bringing up the rear could have seen Sylvi, in fact they probably did- out of the corner of their eyes. However, walking as one of the many servants here and carrying a bottle the same way meant that she never registered on their consciousness. Just another drudge among many, you are beneath their notice. And the drumming of their iron-tipped boots on the stairs covers the noise of anyone coming up behind them. The Rookie wrote:Sylvi slowly creeps out from the bar area, bottle in hand, but made to seem like she's carrying it to be presented to someone. Trying to trace her steps back to her room, she catches a quick glimpse of Ana leading a man in white robes up the stairway. "A Templar... An actual Templar... " she mutter to herself, never having seen one in the flesh.
She has to wait for the pair to disappear up the stairs before she can attempt to follow behind.
Not that anyone would dare, right?
But that noise has other effects...
That means leading them along the railed overhang, and past the rooms-DarkTheImmortal wrote: When she gets to the top of the stairs, She will lead them away from where the rooms they're using are (if there are multiple ways to go); if there's only one way, either past the rooms or not even reaching them, depending on where they are. Her hand is close to the pocket where she keeps her dagger, but not close enough to be suspicious.
Suddenly, a door bursts open and the floozy that accosted Tycho last night bawls out; "Whats with all the {censored] {censored!!!!] noise out here at this time of morning!"
She came out between Annaria and the Templar, and that Templar rears back as if he is about to cast a violent spell. He checks himself, staring at this absurdly buxom woman who is wearing a gauzy nightgown that is not closed very well, knee-high black boots, and a huge hat of the type favored by foppish Noblemen, complete with Ostrich feather.
Well, Annaria's turn saved you from that, but at the very same moment.... yeah, you know that voice.2561642 wrote:Naturally, this means immediately bursting out of his room to make a beeline to the one where Raimius must still be. If there's anyone that can keep this new mage on a level playing field, it's him - and Tycho figures it's about time for him to wake up anyway.
The possibility of running into the mage on the way seems to have escaped Tycho's considerations.
You can't see her, it is all happening just around the corner, but you can see the last Thug, he is staring at something that has his attention .... for now. All he would have to do is turn his head to see you, he just made it to the top of the stairs.
The Thug would also have to turn around to see the other person Tycho observes; Sylvi is coming up behind him with a wine-bottle held as if she is going to use it as a club..
//that's all for me, going now and will not be back for about 48 hours.... good luck with plotting your next move!//
