orion soon came to an alley, his bike was at the end. he then looked up seeing a ship leave above the clouds and out of sight. "well there goes some other criminals" orion thought getting on his bike with a smile, he then went back into town. soon he entered an area with many bars and pubs and silently tossed a grenade into one while walking into another bar, once inside he sat down in a corner and soon went on looking around, he then noticd how one man seemed to stick out a bit more due to the armor he wore, he then looked him up and down seeing his guns and half of his face. he seemed familiar, he then set a computer down and scanned half of his body. a file search was underwent outside the pub across exploded throwing people police and glass everywhere. orion held back a smile at the carnage."doc theres a bounty hunter here, find him for me. also no luck finding out the two signatures, they took off faster than i expected." orion said
a buzz came back *"ok i have the scan. and from primary scan i have bounty hunter...tristam?....no that cant be right...blasted machine froze ill get back with you orion just be wary if it is tristam hes supposedly hardcore. "* the con buzzed as docs voice fadded "great theres a bounty hunter here i dont know of and about..ten police outside investigating the explosion" orion thought before calling a drink to his table, once the drink arrived he set his cloak off checking if the red stripe was showing finding many holes in the cover he took it off re ealing the red stripe all the way down "maybe he wont notice who i am but if he does ill ne ready" orion thought setting the cloak on the table

As much as Tristam would have liked to continue conversation with the wolf, and hopefully wake Max up, he was quickly interrupted by the beeping of his communicator.
"Hold on a sec, gotta take this call..."

He quickly brought the hand-held up to his ear, turning down the volume to prevent the caller being overheard.
"Yeah?"
"Unidentified craft leaving atmosphere. Your target may very well be on board."
"Well, damn... Did you get anything that may help in tracking it?"
"Negative. It did not show on radar, was only able to record a visual from long range before craft left. Unable to determine ship type."
"Damn it! I'll be right there. Sorry, gotta go, miss, tell Smiley that the mark ran for it. And..."

He stopped short right as he was about to leave. There was someone new in the crowd... Of course, that normally meant nothing, but...
Still, he brought up his communicator again, speaking barely louder than a whisper as he returned to his seat near the wolf-woman. One human looked a bit out of place...
"Run a search in the hunter database. Male, Human, red eyes, black hair with some red."
"Searching... Match found. Orion "The Dark Star" Russotec. Bounty: 20,500,000. Incredibly dangerous, direct confrontation not recommended."

Twenty mil...?
The mercenary was visited by a fantasy, one consisting of him literally swimming in money.

"So, ma'am..." He said, still speaking low. "Whatever your name is, I have a proposal. There's a big fat bounty in this pub- don't look, he'll get suspicious. Human, red eyes, black and red hair. Help me catch him alive, and I promise you'll get half his bounty. That comes up to at least ten million credits. I won't make this offer twice, he could bolt any second. Do we have a deal?"

Ilyana listened to Tristam and went wide-eyed at the mentioned amount. "Kid, you just said a magic number that stopped me from slugging a bullet in your brain, but for that much, I don't like these odds." She lifted Max's head by grabbing his hair and looked at Tristam. "You two friends? There's a trick to wake him up."

The mercenary smiled pleasantly.
"Friends? No, more like temporary partners-in-crime. It's not much difference to me if he's awake, It's your choice, really..."

"As for our chances, I don't fancy getting into a firefight without some protection. No, what I need is a distraction. I need you to have a chat with our red-eyed friend. Seduce him, trick him, get him drunk, whatever, something to keep his attention off me. I'll sneak up behind him and jab him with a needle. He should with any luck fall right to sleep. Sound like a plan, miss?"

Ilyana sighed and let Max drop to the floor. "As much as I dislike it, it sounds like that may work. Give me a sec."

She stood up and went to the bar, calling the bartender over. "Hey, Greg, you got some sand juice on you?"
The rhino nodded and handed her a small injector. "Carefull with that stuff Lilly."
"Thanks, put it on my tab." She hid the injector under her tail and looked around the room. After she found Orion, she approached him from the other side of his table and leaned forward over the table with a smile. "Hi there sweetie, I haven't seen you 'round here before. You new to Venus?"

orion looked at the girl. a buzz from his ear made him look at tristam. once she sat down and asked her question he shook his head no. "nope but i like venus alot some days. thing is i come here to get drunk most of the time.... but i cant get drunk" orion said under the table he pointed one pistol at the girl and tapped a button on his leg activating the nanomites inside his body. the ripple in his body made him feel better. soon his augmentations kicked in and he could hear, see, and smell better than before. "so two things have me curious. first is how do you know tristam and second please dont give me any offers im here for one reason only" orion said taking a drink before looking at tristam and standing up one gun at llyana and a second at tristam."hold it there bounty hunter. theres one thing i want to know. so before i turn this to a fire fight how about you and me walk and talk or so? orion said looking at tristam.

"The hell...? I haven't even made my move yet!"
Argonz looked over behind his chair to see the criminal pointing his gun at him.
"Always with the guns and the pointing... Let me finish my drink, at least. I paid good money for it."

With a grumble of "Just like me to get held up in a place like the desert's backside...", the Mercenary turned back to finish his soda, kicking Max at the same time hoping he'd wake up, then turned around again in his seat.
"Walk where? To the police? No? Damn. You can ask your question from right there. Oh, and you can let the girl go, I don't want an innocent dragged into this."

"That friggin son of a..." Ilyana was now fuming as she swept the credits from the table, walking over to Max and putting a foot against his head as she took his pistol away from him.

"Ungh... my head... what is happening..."
"I'll give it right back."
With that, Ilyana quickly paced outside the bar, finding Orion on his bike.
"WHAT THE [censored] DO I LOOK LIKE TO YOU, YOU SMOOTH-SKINNED [censored]!"
She kept yelling as she unloaded the pistol at his bike.

In the meantime, Max managed to get up to his feet and looked confused at Tristam.
"What the hell is happening?"

*DAMAGE DETECTED...TARGET AQUIRED WEAPONS AT MAXIMUM* a deep voice from the bike called. soon the bike started and hovered then turned automatically as two long barrels stuck from the front aimed at llyana after so two missile aimed at the bar first the guns went off spraying bullets everywhere. few grazing llyana but mostly missed and flew into the bar not hitting anyone. next missile armed itself untill orion shut down the weapons. "you know miss im usually a nice person but i never thought bad at you mam. and truthfully i thought you as a business person wanting to sell me something. dont shoot my bike again or shoot me because it wont end well for you or the bar behind you. all it will be is a red inferno with body parts everywhere. orion said reactivating the missile to prove his point after so he checked the bullet holes. "nothing a welder and some sheet metal cant fix. and luckily she didnt hit the mainframe otherwize this thing really would have went haywire" orion thought

*Meanwhile...*

Gunfire detected, approaching Gunstar's last confirmed location.
Upon noticing gunfire through it's communication channel, since Tristam conveniently "Forgot" to deactivate his communicator, the ship fired up it's engines and was soon airborne, Flying at high speed towards the Pub known as the Desert's Backside.

And now, back to everyone's favorite bounty hunter.

"Hmph, fine... I don't have to be happy about it, though."
The instant Tristam approached the bike, however, it was soon riddled with bullet holes and shooting back.

Believing the criminal had changed his mind on harming anyone, he naturally hit the dirt, pulling out his two bladed Revolvers.
He looked to Max as he rose to his feet.
"Fat bounty." Was all he said, hoping max would catch on fast enough.

Noticing that the gunfire had immediately stopped, he holstered the revolvers again.
"Follow, don't trust."
The mercenary whispered before he reluctantly hopped on the criminal's bike. He hoped Orion had been distracted enough not to hear his "subtle" messages to Max.

"were headed to the outskirts of town distance will be half way from where i landed. communicators will be watched and blocked to where its like a regular conversation." orion said flying out of the town. about ten mjnutes later both were outside the town as said. orion got off the bike and shut it off. he stretched and then leaned on the bike."ok now that we are here, first and foremost do you know a man by the name of saragiaro? he is a criminal gang leader and his bounty is three times greater than mine. looks like a human fused with a lizard." orion asked grabing his laptop and showing the wanted sign of him on the screen as well as his history and record, last showed was his 120 million credit bounty. orion while waiting opened a small case and went to fixing the bullet hes on his bike.

Still fuming, the only reason Ilyana stopped shooting was that she was out of bullets and could only watch in anger as Orion drove off. Max walked out behind her, scratching the back of his head.

"Who the hell is that red haired guy?"
She shoved the pistol against his chest.
"According to your partner, someone worth a lot of money, and deserving TO BE SHOT!"

The sound of police sirens made Max hurry up. "Ok, listen, you can tag along, but just because we're after the same person, the more of us the easier." Ilyana nodded, understanding the rush as they both got on Max's skiff. A short drive later, Max parked at what he judged was a safe distance from Orion and Tristam, lounging in his skiff. "And now we wait, if he needs help, he'll think of some sort of signal."

Ilyana though, jumped out of the skiff with haste. "Do you have any surveillance equipment?"
"Check the back of the skiff, there should be a pair of binocs."
She popped open the storage and stood surprised at it's contents.
"Hey, this is my stuff."
"Oh, right, yeah. I was... umm... keeping it safe?"
"Whatever..."
She took her belongings back, grabbing the binoculars and started keeping watch over Tristam.
"I hope that kid knows what's he doing..."
"You'll get an ulcer if you keep being stressed like that."

Figures... Couldn't be easy... I just hope Os isn't tearing up the town looking for me.

Tristam was silent the for whole trip, speaking only once he hopped off the bike.
"Alright, now waddaya want?"

Upon being told, and noticing the absurd bounty on the Saragiaro criminal, he genuinely thought his eyes would pop out of their sockets.
Shortly after that, he began experiencing another fantasy of swimming in money of the golden coin variety, though with gems and priceless artifacts added to the mix.
This is so perfect! Once I catch the guy, I can "safely" turn Orion in, pay that wolf girl for her help, and I can make a few "donations" to get that bounty off my back... HA! SCREW THE RULES, I HAVE MONEY! HA! HAHAHA!!!

When he came back to reality, Tristam found that he had recently been rolling in the sand, giggling madly.
He stood up quickly, dusting himself off and regaining as much of his composure as he could.
"I have not heard any news regarding this individual, but I believe it would be mutually beneficial if we worked together. (Myself taking half, if not more, of the bounty.)"

*Meanwhile, at a pub not all that far away...*

"THE GUNFIRE WAS LAST DETECTED HERE, AT THIS VERY ESTABLISHMENT. DO NOT LIE."
"I keep telling you! He's not here!"

Patrons of the Desert's Backside would be very surprised to find a fighter craft hovering quite a few feet above the building, demanding to know where someone called "Gunstar" had gone.
It was also quite painful to ears, as well, "she" apparently made "her" demands loud and clear. Mostly loud, though, as the bartender quickly realized.

"He joined a human fellow and flew off in that general direction! Now if you don't mind...!"
"Of course, my apologies for the disturbance..."
Before anyone, such as the law enforcement, could slow the ship down, the Osprey had already zoomed off in the direction "she" was pointed in.

Orion watched tristam fall over into the dirt, orion couldn't help but want to laugh at the sight. soon his ear piece buzzed and his expression loosened. then after hearing tristams answer he nodded. "I thought not but I had to try. I had a lead to head over here but I figured it be a dead end again."orion said setting a case on hisbike and opening it showing a 30-6 semi auto rifle, he then moved his hand over to a pair of military binoculars with an enhanced zoom. he pulled them out and then tapped his ear piece. "doc where are they?" orion said as the headset buzzed again orion turned a bit and pulled the binoculars up. in the distance he saw two transports leaving with small escorts. he put the binoculars away. "well tristam looks like I have to get going, just remember this most bounty hunters that go after me don't read a persons history before the bounty. read up, it could help you more than most things in battle, and if your fast enough you may catch me in the act of another crime....oh and before I go this is yours, I recognize the writing but I scared her out. bye!" orion said handing juli's note to tristam before getting on his bike and zooming off leaving a small box on the ground, inside was a small beacon that hasn't been activated and a note reading "if you want to know more of saragiaro go to the asteroid belt to these coordinates"

a bit later orion arrived at his ship "alright are the ships tagged doc?"

"done and the men we captured make great crew we managed to repair that glitch in the system earlier.

"orion im grim one of you captives, its gonna be good working with you, the engine room is very noce and everything shows green status"

"thank you grim, prepare for take off were going after those transports" orion said sitting down in his chair and starting up the ship, the engines whirred a short amount of time until everything inside the ship was up and running, he then increased elevation slowly until he pushed the throttle forward and the ship moved in the direction of the transports still in the atmosphere making it a bit obvious on what he was going to do

Autoflight. A metallic female voice answered hoarsely and unemotionally Yes Captain? Set course for venus. course set for: Sevastapol. Good, That is all, make haste... oh, come here bandit! As I said this the border collie got up from his large dog bed and crawled up into my lap and snapped at a mars gecko sitting on the dashboard, grabbing it and eating it he rolled over and pawed at my face to get me to give me a belly rub, alright, alright stop here, happy? as I gave him a belly rub he saw what he THOUGHT was a gecko on the ceiling... clambering up from my lap he sat on the floor and repeatedly jumped to try to get at the toy, smiling I stood up and jumped and grabbed his toy gecko out of one of the rails and threw it to him as he ran to his bed and sat down to play with it. Reclining back in the seat as I slowly fell to sleep as the ship headed to the planet.

Landing just outside of town bandit jumped out of the ship and happily lay in the sand next to the ship after going to the bathroom. Lowering the bikes to the ground I yelled into the ship to Jason Hey, get your crazy [censored] out here Jason. Turning to the woman that had hitched a ride I smiled and said, Im a man of my word ma'am, you can leave if you like. Hmmm, I might just stay. With that she leaned in and kissed me on the cheek. SAMPSON!!!What now, Boiler? Jason's crazy self nodded vigourously, sigh, mount up, we're headed into town, seeing as last time I tried to get a meal I was interrupted. If you try to kill another chef, so help me god it'll be the last time. Saying that I slung my leg over the bike and started it up, the radio belting out a song. Lets rock. Yanking back on the throttle the rear tire spun and dug in, yanking the front tire off the ground, giving Jason's bike a run for its money. Flying past two people on a floating skiff, the music clearly audible, and the cowboy insignia visible as I slammed the clutch and down shifted, drifting the bike to slide next to the pair, the bike cackling almost angrily as I ruffled my wings and smiled, Jason flying around doing barrel rolls and trying to fly. [[ Due to using the same colors, MUDPUNISHER agreed on Shane Sampson using this color code for speech temporarly so it would be easier to discern. ]]

"Umm... Max?
Max yawned and stretched in the skiff.
"On a first name basis, are we?"
"Oh shut your trap. Tell me, is rolling on the floor cackling like an idiot a signal?"
"What?"

Max jumped out the skiff and took the binoculars, looking over to Tristam and Orion just in time to see Tristam get up. "What the hell is that kid doing..." Unfortunately further observation netted no results. With Orion packing up and leaving, Max sighed and put the binocs away. "Now what?" Ilyana made sure her powerfists are charged and looked off where Orion left. "I still want to bash his face in." Max checked if the skiff is good to go, slamming the hood closed. "Fat chance of that happening now." It was like this when Sampson arrived, offering help. Ilyana immedeately recognized him and stepped a bit back, but Maxwell was as clueless as ever.
"Actually, yeah, getting off this rock would be a welcome change of scenery."
"What, that old scrapheap you call a ship no longer flies?"
"Hardy har har..."

"So, I have a ship but, might I ask, where is what sounds like the remains of yours? Crumpled in a dessert, or in seizure at a mechanics due to insufficient funds or an angry mechanic... So big hoss, what'll it be?" As he leaned forward he grabbed an ancient looking iPod nano from the bike and tapped to the next song.
"The ship is fine, I'm just... unable to use it right now. Please, do tell, what kinda help can you offer, mister...?"
"Lets just say my associate and I have a unique set of skills." As he looked over and saw the girl back away he smiled. "Just ask her who I am, she might know."
"He's, umm... Shane sampson, a rather wanted man..."
Max looked at her and then back at Sampson, shrugging. "Bah, it's not like I'm doing any better. Ok, I'll take your help, what do you have in mind?"
"Heh heh, what shop is it at, and even more substantial. Would it be done by now?"
"The only repair shop in a small town further East, Ternevka. And yeah, Scrappy should've fixed it by now."
Oh, Scrappy, heh heh, ever wondered why there's a hole in his leg and in the floor of bay two?
"Oh, you've got something to do with that? I'm guessing we're taking my ship back without paying..."
Exactly. Saying this he smiled. Ill put it this way, he sees me walk in, he either pulls a gun or runs, er, hobbles, like he's seen a ghost and hides in a safe... Or in the bathroom.
"As good as plan as any. You seem to know the way, so let's get going."
Kicking his bike in gear Shane pulled the clutch handle on his bike and kicked it in gear, grinning as the bike screamed getting Jason's attention as the front tire yanked itself off the ground and barreled off, YEEEEEEHHAAAAWWWW!!! KEEP UP IF YA CAN!

Max was about to get his skiff started as Ilyana yanked his shoulder. "Ok, what are you playing at here?"
"What do you mean by that..."
"Are you a bounty hunter, a mercenary, who the hell do you work for?"
At that Max simply smiled and jumped on the skiff. "I work for myself and go where the money is, wanna get left in the desert?"
"Ugh... I hope I won't regret this."
As Ilyana jumped on, Max ramped up his skiff, lifting it up in the air as he glanced over to where Tristam was. Whatever you're gonna do kid, I hope you die painlessly. With that, he darted forward after Shane, trying to catch up.
