Path of the Gods(IC)

#1 Post by Geo_&_Bio »

Dear children of the Void, you are here to gain rightful passage through the ascension, but only one of you will be allowed to enter and you know what that means, only one of you will be allowed to win. The prayers of your tribe screams to you, the gentle plea can pierce even through the heavens. It is now time to head that call, it is now time to begin your path; Are you good or evil, Lawful or Chaotic, fierce or passive, you will decide your journey. So here me children of the Void, Take your tribe, begin your exodus, and become the one true god, or become once again a denizen of the empty void.

Begin meeting with your tribe, then tell them the location in which you will set out in(Pm me by either saying the "City" on the "Map" or draw a small dot yourself using a form of art tool).

I shall bless your tribe with temporary immortality until you leave the area, Good luck and may the best god win.

Current Tribes:
The Currotir
The Delarke
The Fealt
The Nabekei
The Grohiik
Ratheran

(Yeah, I know; short OP post for such a dramatically long OOC, but I pretty much said enough in the OOC. You may now commence posting your Tribal Post. After my Reaction-post, the Signups will be officially closed.)

The thirty people which made up the Fealt milled aimlessly about, nervously eying the other tribes. They clutched their meager belongings, such as they were. A few sharp wooden sticks here, a few even more basic tools there. Most had some sort of staff or stave, both tool and makeshift weapon if need be. Some had rocks, sharp one-sided things which one could grasp firmly in a hand for bashing or throwing. They wore very basic clothing, hardly protection against extreme heat or cold, but enough to keep them from dying in an open windy plain on a cold night.

One of them was obviously their leader, a man. He was of no greater stature or size than the others, and indeed was smaller than a few, but carried with him an air of dignity and strength which made others follow. Still, even he seemed relatively unsure as to what their destination was.

Someone sneezed behind him. The elder (Although he was hardly any older than the rest, all of which were in the springtimes of their lives) turned his head at the noise, expecting to see one of his tribe, or at least one of the other tribes. Instead, he saw that which made him drop to his knees almost instinctively, although the sight did not affect the other tribes so. (Assuming that my presence would only inspire awe in my immediate tribe at first, being aligned with them and all)

Eyes lowered, he muttered something humbly. In response, he received a sound which was as of yet new to the hatchlings, such as they were. A giggle. A feminine sound, one which caused a few of the tribe to smile slightly in response. A smooth hand traced the outline of his face, coming to rest under his chin, gently but firmly causing him to look up, into the eyes of their new goddess. She was indescribably beautiful (At least to this tribe), standing in front of them with unfathomable grace. No sense of overwhelming power radiated from her, no sense of disdain or superiority, despite her obvious strength, which was clear from her wickedly gleaming blade to her glowing blue eyes. Not the cold, unfeeling blue of the frozen wastes, but the mild, optimistic blue of the skies, of a shining sapphire.

She knelt to one knee in front of the likewise kneeling elder, and gently took hold of one of his hands, before suddenly rising and tugging him along with her. He let out a startled grunt, drawing another giggle from behind the cloth which covered her mouth, but the goddess kept insistently pulling his hand, almost like that of a small child wanting her parents to see her latest creation of which she was so proud, although in this case, her creation was actually a destination. The tribe followed the elder and the goddess, eagerly discussing their new-found...friend.

As they left, the goddess paused for a moment, and waved gaily at the other tribes. In particular, her gaze lingered on a massive, armored figure, obviously one of the other Avatars, before resuming her lead, her cloak swirling about, heading south-southeast.

After witnessing the one of the other tribes leave, naturally, The Nabekei were curious as to how long until they would be departing. They had thirty people in their tribe. They wore simple clothing, if it was even proper even call it that, it was really just rags fashioned around the body to cover the tribes peoples private areas. They also had crude weapons made from wood, mostly sticks with a sharp end; calling them spears didn't really seem fair.

A lone figure was walking towards the tribe. He appeared to be a man made entirely of rock. He had a crack upon his head and another one across his chest in a slant. As he approached the tribe slowly, he thought of what he would tell them, he already had an idea but he knew the tribe would follow him regardless of what he said.

When he finally reached the tribe he spoke in a deep, commanding voice, “Who is leading your tribe? I wish to speak with him or her for a brief moment.” Before he was even done the leader of the tribe had already worked his way to the front. He was old and was of short stature, people much preferred to call him the elder of the tribe rather than leader since, he mostly gave advice, instead of ordering people around.

The man dropped to his knee and said, “I am the elder of the tribe, you may refer to me as the leader if you wish.” The man made of rock smiled and replied, “I shall be guiding you through your journey, we have much to discuss, please, follow me along with the rest of your people.” The elder rose from his knee and motioned for the rest of the tribe to follow him.

It's early on so if I want to make friends I should do so now.” The man of rock thought to himself silently “Although it could be a futile effort, they may tell me something about themselves important if I get them talking.”

The thirty people known as the Delarke tribe stood there, in a defensive position. They were not sure as to how they came here and what the other people were but they felt a certain connection to the others in the tribe, a familial feeling that told them to defend the others and the women. The men brandished their staffs, makeshift wooden spears, and stones while the women were cuddled in the center of the circular position. They glared at the other tribes with paranoid suspicion and teeth bared when one of the women stood up and spoke, urging the men to not anger the others.

Confused, some of the men put down their spears. There was wisdom in the women's words and they couldn't help but feel an aura of command radiate from her. However, a few were still unwilling to listen and continued to keep their spears up even as the rest of the tribe urged them to lower their arms. However, all stopped and turned their head when a noise emanated from behind them, a deep chuckle that seemed to cause the ground to reverberate and shake.

From behind them a massive figure covered in gleaming silver armor stepped forward, radiance emanating from the armor. It carried nothing but a large metal staff on it's back, a pair of glowing blue orbs visible through the holes in the helmet's visors. While the rest of the people stumbled back in shock from the god's sudden appearance, the woman that had spoken to the tribesmen before stepped forward till she was right in front of the god. With a single movement, she fell to one knee and bowed.

As the rest of the tribe watched, the titan looked down at the woman and chuckled once more. This time, it carried a fatherly tone, as if seeing a child's first success. Softly, the god's gloved hand descended on the woman's head and ruffled her hair softly. The god's touch was surprisingly soft and warm when you realized that the avatar was sealed in a suit of metal. Gently, the god returned his hand back to his side and motioned for the women to stand up. Slowly, the women did so. She stood to her full height of five foot six, barely at the avatar's chest. However her gaze matched the intensity of the god's own gaze. She stood firm and strong against a being that could simply remove her from the world had it decided it would be fit.

Chuckling in a fatherly fashion once more, the god spoke, his voice quiet and clear yet powerful at the same time. "Yes, you will fit well within this role. You yourself hold within you the traits of leadership and diplomacy, to stare in the face of even Gods and stand your ground. So long as your linage's choices are wise and their mind's sharp, I shall back you and your descendants as the leader of these people. Now, we have much to accomplish. We must leave."

The god turned and motioned for his tribe to follow, the newly appointed elder of the village falling in line behind him. Slowly at first, the tribe gathered behind the woman. However, as they gathered, a sense of unity formed between them. If anything, this was the true beginning of the tribe. He watched his new tribe with a sense of pride. From these people he shall create a new civilization, nurse them till they reached the stars. And what a good start, most of them were eighteen to twenty, the prime of their life. As his tribe formed up, he spotted two of the gods leave as well. One of them a women, the other a golem. Quietly, he recalled the plan that he had struck up with Gall'dyras. With a wave of his hand he motioned for the tribe to move. They left right behind The Fealt and following the path that the other tribe had chosen.

A sight to behold it was, the chanting and dancing, the screams and laughs. Every tribes men and woman seemed oddly cheery as they continued there circular dance. At the middle of it was a woman. Wearing a crude dress made of rags and furs, nothing of particular emanated from the rather small woman but still, there was simply something wrong with her. Her eyes bulged, her pupil's a sinister green and strange black veins could be seen from under her skin. Her chants seemed to completely dwarf the rest of the tribe, leading it in a song that would shake many to the bone.

The woman suddenly fell to her knees, hands in the air and looking straight into the sky, for before her was something only she could see. The all covering shadow with the all gazing eye, piercing and corrupting everything it saw. Dropping to all fours, the woman's eyes grew black and a dark liquid like substance dripped from her mouth. It only grew worse as the dripping became violent vomiting until the entire ground before her was covered.

Still on all fours, the rest of the tribe cheered and screamed at the sight that occurred next. Vines grew from the black substance. Slowly, a silhouette rose from the blackness as the vines grew to envelope the small area the tribe was occupying. A normal looking man physique wise, sitting on an ornate throne, face covered in strange wrapping except for one gazing eye. His hands where the vines itself engulfing the area around the tribe, as if corrupting it. The man gazed at all thirty of the lowly tribesmen. Smaller and scrawnier looking they were from the rest. They were to be his harbingers, his living corruption to take this world in his name.

He didn't even say a word, the tribe knew who he was and bowed before him, all taking a sip of the black substance in the process, solidifying there loyalty, and that of there children's, to the Corrupting eye. The woman in the middle of the circle was slowly lifted from the ground by the vines, to meet her master face to face. The eye simply looked at her with a piercing, sinister gaze before looking North West. The woman understood her masters wishes and smiled, nodding her head. Sitting on one of the arms of the throne, the woman and her master where lifted up by the other tribesmen, seemingly heading northwest, to there new homeland.

The tribe of the Ratheran was standing idly away from the other tribes, observing them with calm expressions. The men had formed a circle around the children and the women, making sure that they were safe. They were wearing simple clothing, wrapped around their bodies in a unique fashion, giving them an exotic appearance together with their bronzed skin and their icy blue eyes. As the various tribes left, they settled down, sharing what food they had until they heard thunder in the distance. They worriedly turned their eyes to the sky, memories of violent storms still fresh.

In the distance, To'oh came. He was an impressive sight to be seen and the tribe of Ratheran backed away a bit as he approached them. His glowing eyes and his appearance that of a beast would most certainly frighten anyone. To'oh smiled as he finally stood in front of them, laying his staff to the side and sitting down. The grass beneath the god seemed to get nourished by his presence, turning greener and growing longer as he sat there, picking up two cups from his pouch and taking the gourd from his staff. He put one cup in front of him and the other he held out towards the tribe.

The tribe was still a bit skeptical to his appearance, but suddenly, a young man approached. To'oh's smile grew and as the man took the cup and sat down in front of the god. No words were exchanged as To'oh poured bright water into their cups, urging the seemingly brave human to drink. The man looked at this strange creature before he took a sip out of his cup. The effect was almost instantanous. His hair grew long, longer than any woman in the tribe and a pattern of leaves and ranks crawled over his skin. To'oh watched as the man took it in with a calm gaze, turning his eyes towards To'oh and raising a brow. The god nodded and stood up.

He picked up his staff and drew something in the earth. It was line first, then a crescent shaped form next to it. He took up his gourd and poured some of the water in between the two shapes. He then pointed at the man, the leader of the tribe, and then back to the crescent. The leader nodded and uttered some grunting sounds towards his tribe. They quickly picked up their belongings and To'oh's heart swelled with love when he saw their eager faces and how their looks of suspicion had changed to something else. Respect. He laughed heartily, a warm sound that reminded the tribe of thunder in the distance and they smiled with him. Then, they were on their way, seeking their future.

The Grohiik tribe was circled around a small fire singing in a strange language at the center of the cicrle closest to the fire was the elder that was slightly older then the rest of the tribe. The elder was leading the song as he grabbed a stick that was on fire and put it to his lips. THe elder breathed out on the flames when the flames jumped off of the stick snaking through the air in the center of the circle. At the end of the flames a face of a large snake appeared as the flames shoot straight into the air and turned back to the ground landing back into the fire. In the center of the fire was a Loki on one knee wearing armor that looked like it was made out of scarlet flames since it reflected the fire in a scarlet color.

Loki got up slowly as he looked around at the Grohiik tribe slowly his eyes rested on the Elder who was looking directly at Loki. Loki was about to speak when half of the tribe bowed to him including the elder. The other half were pointing their weapons to Loki. Loki walked out of the flames and raised his hand for the others to rise. He looked at the elder who stood his ground. "You knew what i was before i spoke and yet you stand your ground with your tribe. You will help me take this tirbe to greatness."

Loki lead his tribe to the west in search of their new home. He was ahead of his tribe with the elder talking about what they could do to take their tribe to greatness. They talked like they were old friends catching up on life. The tribe stayed back from loki cause his armor still even out of the fire like it was made from scarlet flames.

In the realm of the gods loki was looking into the hearth of the godly flames that have burned there since the first gods walked. He was going through his chooses for allies if need be and his mind set on the god of corruption, and god of death. Both in his mind corruption can be made from the flames of fire and so can death. The two if they accept his offers would make formidable allies. Innovations he thought closely on that and realized you can't move foward without fire to help make some things like the armor some of the avatars bare were made from the flames and innovited minds. "If only i can make those three join forces with me as minors if i can presuade them to join." An evil smile formed in the flames of his godly form if you didn't looke closely you would dismiss it as the wind messing with his form.

(sorry all i could think up right now.)

AVATAR POST

Although Gall'dyras had shown no signs of unease or hostility towards the Delarke or their imposingly armored avatar, the Fealt nonetheless were casting suspicious eyes at the following tribe every so often, clutching their pathetic 'weapons' closer, and their loved ones even more so. Of course, the fact that the Delarke were equally suspicious of the Fealt did nothing to ease the tension. They continued on in silence for a few hours, occasionally stopping for water, until the avatar of Death stopped. Her tribe halted, confused.

She looked up. They were on the edge of a forest. Birds chirped warnings to their brethren, and small creatures skittered, crawled, and jumped about in the leafy undergrowth, chittering to each other. Trees grew about the area, although not thick enough to seem imposing or gloomy. Gall'dyras, the physical embodiment of Death herself, a living god, began to dance along the treeline, giggling at random intervals. The tribe and its elder looked on, bemused. The childish avatar continued on for a few more steps, before realizing that nobody was following her. She skipped back, and then seized the elder's hands. She tugged on them, urging him to dance with her. Hesitantly at first, glancing back at the equally confused Delarke, he began to gain enthusiasm in her clumsy maneuvers, until the two were spinning around and around in circles. The Fealt looked on, some of them openly grinning and chuckling, managing to relax slightly.

All was wonderful, until Gall'dyras spun headfirst into an unforgiving tree who didn't share her tastes in footwork. She fell to the ground, stunned. The tribe elder held out a hand, but was waved off. She arose, then staggered forward a few steps before falling down once more, going still.

"..." The tribe shuffled their feet, unsure.

She sprang back up, and began marching off, ignoring her fall. The Fealt began following her once more, a few shaking their heads, chuckling. Their strange new goddess was much more...personable than they had imagined.

EDIT-(Roll for discovering dancing beyond simple shuffling, possible uses for worship, relaxation, physical fitness, and mental health, as well as limited combat application)

(Time to test this dice system! If this isn't exactly what you had in mind when it comes to making advancements then let me know. Its the first time I play an RP with actual dices and such rules so it stresses me out a little. :P )

The Currotir marched onwards towards there God's chosen destination. The creature of corruption had vanished for now but one could see at the feet of the tribesmen, the elder woman in particular, the slow, sludge like dark substance following the small group. They seemed to move in a strange manner, so to speak, keeping out of sight in the shadows and generally keeping there heads down, as if hiding.

As they moved well into the night, they made camp for rest near a small lake. Chanting and praying around a green lit fire that seemed to absorb the light instead of casting it, the elder woman started to chant in the middle of the fire while the rest formed a circle around her. Meanwhile, in the distance, one of the tribesmen was assigned as a watch to make sure no one came after the tribe. Patrolling around the lake, he noticed a strange greenish algae and several small dead animals near it. He didn't know what to make of it at first but then he started to think... It might be connected... Looking at the small wooden spear in his hand then back at the algae... He suddenly had an idea!

(Basically I want him to make poison tipped spears... Then again he might just eat the stuff and die depending on the dice role)

Despite the fact that their guide and guardian was a heavily armored titan and their Elder's insistence the Delarke kept their distance away from the Fealt. The Avatar sighed wistfully as he noted the distance between the two tribes. It wasn't just an inconvenience to his plans, it was an inconvenience to the tribes long term movements. Right now it was too early for them to notice the effects but the Avatar could count the minutes that he had to cut water breaks and rests because they had arrived behind the other tribe, making them leave just a little bit earlier so that they were not left behind. It wasn't a problem now but it could become one in the future.

As Gall'dyras stopped her tribe, so did the Titan. Putting up one gloved hand, the entire tribe came to a quick stop. They looked at him confused while the Elder turned to look at him, a concerned expression on her face. He turned around and immediately went into a crouch until he was at ear level with the Elder. Quietly, he whispered into her ear. "My child, the first task I hand to you is simple. I need you to convince your people to get along with the Fealt, the tribe we're following. If we were to join them, then we will be effectively twice as powerful and capable. Before you ask, there is a reason why I do not do it myself. I fear that they will listen to me simply because they fear me as a Deity and not because they can see the positives of working with another group. I do not wish to corral my people into a decision that I made for them, rather, I'd prefer having you convince them that it is the correct choice. In any event, I would prefer you to take some time and think of how you are to do this. Relax for now." Without another word, the Titan stood back up and observed the scene before him.

Earlier, when the Avatar and the Elder began their discussion the rest of the tribe stood at attention, waiting for the Avatar or Elder to say something. However, as the Avatar whispered quiet instructions to the Elder, the rest of the tribe quickly lost interest. Instead, they focused on the Avatar of the other tribe, confused at first. However, after watching the God's clumsy dancing and subsequent fall, a few of them let out a chuckle of amusement or ridicule. Though the Titan could only catch the tail end of the dance, he could figure enough as to the events that had occurred.

As the other tribe started to move again, so did the Delarke. As they moved the Elder was locked in a series of thoughts, trying to figure out a way to convince the rest of her tribe that the other tribe meant no harm and to be at ease. However, she guessed that she should at least clear whatever idea she came up with with the Titan first, just to be safe.

GOD POST

(Geo, I'm not sure what the lore is here, let me know if I've completely wrecked yours and I'll edit/delete.)

Above the realm of mortals and flesh, of material and bone, was the realm of the gods, some newly born, others older. Death, for one, was eternal. From the first microorganism that shuddered to a halt, its processes no longer capable of sustaining life, to the new beings that questioned their place in their new world, Death was always there. However, unlike, perhaps, Votus or Corrupto, Gall'dyras had been unable to fit her essence into the physical Avatar which now happily led her people. She was unsure as to why. Perhaps the thrice-accursed Gamemaster who toyed with life and death like they were his own personal courtesans had limited her even more than the others, fearing that she would easily overpower many of the other gods, and as such had left her with only a fraction of her own power.

It was like attempting to squeeze an endless ocean of knowledge and personality into a single fragile cup. Every second of maintaining her Avatar's presence was excruciatingly, exquisitely painful, despite her deliberately holding back, leaving the Avatar but a dim representation of her true self. A mere child, left in an adult's form. Humiliating. Infuriating. And she could do naught to better her Avatar's condition. As things were, the Avatar was incapable of communicating almost anything meaningful, barely able to comprehend the most basic of needs. Still, there was hope. For each thinking being that took its last breath, that ceased to exist, Gall'dyras's Avatar was able to hold more and more of her essence. A single death was trifling. But in a few hundred years, things would be very different, oh yes.

Still, as things were, her tribe was vulnerable. So Death had picked...an ally, someone who she could trust with the very future of her people. She had deliberated carefully over her choice. Corrupto she had dismissed almost immediately. He was almost as twisted as the Gamemaster in her eyes. Warping and twisting those who served him into freaks, beings that should have never been, denying them her embrace-for Gall'dyras was not cruel to those who feared dying. She understood that few creatures wished to die, and felt their pain. Each death gave her the memories, personalities, and drive of the deceased, teaching her. Death did her best to comfort those who died, appearing in their minds as a mysterious woman who led them into a new world. Whether that world even existed was not hers to say. She was the courier, not the receiver.

Votus was too untrustworthy. Why a god of rock and stone would appear as an all-consuming black hole, she did not know, but it left her suspicious. Loki was no better. Fire was fickle, hungry, and could turn on the user in a moment's notice. While Gall'dyras bore To-oh no ill will, and indeed thought rather highly of him, she was wary of his intents. Many saw her as a monster, a dark unfeeling reaper that took without remorse. And To-oh, the embodiment of nature itself, was too opposite to her being to be trusted immediately. He might trust her, but she could not know this for certain.

That had left Le'ra. God of innovation. While she felt no real bond with him, innovation often serving to dodge her embraces, she accepted it calmly as long as he understood that his people would eventually die. As such, they had agreed on an alliance, as long as it served both of their interests.

Now, in their realm, Gall'dyras stood watch over her people, looking down on them, face hidden as it always was, even from those who peered directly into her face, an eternal shadow resisting the strongest of lights or the keenest of vision. And as always, she stood in her doorway. If one viewed her from behind, one would simply see a flat, featureless wall, despite the obvious open range behind her if one stood in front of her.

Loki was busily chunnering to himself in the corner. She ignored the fire god's ramblings of alliances, and continued looking down on the world.

"I seem to be enjoying myself." She said musingly, a half-visible mouth curling up into a smile at her Avatar's antics. "I don't understand why you chose to create your Avatar the way you did, Le'ra, although I must confess that the idea is rather tempting now."

To'oh knew that the chosen of his tribe had noticed the changes with his appearance and that he had remained calm at the fact. But he doubted that he would know that he was now one with the beasts of nature. The shapeshifter's form differed from person to person, as To'oh had created it. Someone who's heart and mind was clouded in darkness and hate, would most likely take the form of a wolf. One who was proud and stoic, would take the form of a lion. To'oh had seen the traits of the man walking beside him and he was glad to see that the man indeed carried the traits of a leader. He was strong, wise, protecting and put his family first. To'oh knew what his form would be and would soon initiate him in it. However, no everything was all joy and sunshine as they walked towards the mysterious crescent island. The Currotir was within their view and many of the tribe members eyed them with suspicion and, in some cases, fear. Not even the calming aura of the God of Nature was enough to shut out the feeling of uneasiness that came from Corrupto. To'oh bore none of his brothers and sisters any hatred of fear, he knew that they were a necessity for this realm.

As they continued to walk, To'oh looked back on his tribe and saw their weary eyes and how tired they were. He saw that the leader of the tribe did the same and with his newly gained authority, he motioned for them to sit down. They sighed, content with the break from the walking as they sat down and some fell asleep and others played. To'oh walked a small distance with the leader, coming upon a small valley. The hill they stood on gave them a view over the valley and To'oh smiled widely. This was his domain. All the life that sprung from the Earth was where his power resided. He noticed a pack of bears under a couple of trees and patted the leader's back before he started to walk towards them. The leader was a bit cautious at first, but soon followed, gripping his spear tight.

As they arrived at the pack, the bears seemed to boy towards To'oh, if any animal could do such a thing. The god bowed back and chuckled lightly, the echo of thunder in apparent in his voice. He turned to the leader and pointed first at him then at the bears. The leader looked at him with confusion, so To'oh sighed and pointed at his own clothes. He then touched the leader's skin lightly and walked over to the bears. He put his hand on the bear and his other hand over his heart and then he pointed at the leader. The man was still confused but when he continued to think about bears and himself, he could feel the changes start. His muscles grew and his body convulsed as he started to change into what appeared to be a bear. However, it was bigger than the average bear and it's fur was as black as night. To'oh watched the transformation with pride and when it was down, he bowed his head to the big bear that stood in front of him.

"Ursa. That will be your name." His voice was deep and the thunder followed with it. The leader, Ursa, looked at him, his eyes wide as he felt the power of his new body. So this was the reward for taking the cup. When he thought of his human self, he started to turn back again. The process wasn't without pain, but the feeling of being a creature so close to their god, was priceless.

When he was done, he bowed to To'oh, his body sweating with the effort of changing form. He smiled widely and turned to walk back to his tribe. To'oh smiled at the human's eagerness and he went back to patting the bear. He found it hard to bear ill will when all life around him was so appealing to him. He relished in the might of the creature under his hand and he felt how the sounds and smells of nature filled him with love for all.

Back at the Ratheran, they were idly playing around and two men was throwing rocks down a hill. One of them took up rather oddly shaped rock and threw it down the hill, watching it bounce irregularly. Both of them laughed as the other man picked up a round, flat rock and threw it the same way. Suddenly, the rock's movement caught their eyes. It didn't bounce and slide as the other one. It... rolled. Seeing as it gained more and more speed until it fell to its side and stopped. The two men looked at each other and then went to find more rocks. They picked up several odd shaped ones along a few round, flat ones. Then they proceeded to roll them down the hill, each time a round stone was rolling their interest was peaked. Maybe they could do something with this?

(Roll for them discovering "the wheel" or the use of oval shaped items).

At Gall'dryas feet, a dragon stirred. Although it carried a different color then most of Le'ra's creations, it was clearly obvious that it was yet another avatar of the giant turtle-like god, it's presence carrying the same feeling of warmth and compassion. As it stirred, it stood to it's full height of 6 feet and tilted it's head at the God of Fire standing next to the hearth, being a lonely [censored]. As it did, a slightly amused grin on it's face as it spoke. It's voice was that of gravel and was closer to a growl then to true speech. "My, my Loki, you are quite ambitious aren't you? You almost sounded like a stereotypical movie villain there. And like any stereotypical movie villian, you just spoke your thoughts out loud. You should learn better. Mental monologues tend to be less awkward."

Chuckling, the secondary avatar turned to Gall'drya it's voice echoing in the yet to be God of Death's mind. Unlike it's spoken voice, this one was directly from Le'ra. Despite the fact that it was a telepathic voice transmitted from Le'ra's main body above them and relayed through the much smaller dragon, it's presence was still full. To the recipient it still felt as if the world around them rumbled and vibrated as if in the middle of an earthquake.

/My avatar was created to inspire and to set an example. For that, I gave it a few special properties. Nothing that could upset the balance of this competition, just something that would affects it's cosmetic appearances./ The dragon chuckled, the noise sounding several levels too deep for something of it's size. /In any event, seeing as how your avatar is restricted, I suppose this means that the duty of high guardian would fall onto his shoulders, would it not?/
