I must say, this idea catches my interest. When you get the chance, I'd love to undergo the trial.

Unlike most everyone else, I don't have any questions; although that's more due to my questions having been asked already.

I'd also like to try my hand at passing the test, I await your trial prompt with great interest.

Although I already posted in the other board, I'll mention again that I would like to be part of the new boards as well.

Hmm, although I'd love to join; my state activations tend to be a curse. Also, for the test, I tend to suffer shyness and confusion between a supposed 1 vs 1 deal and will most likely blow it out of proportion. In order to get a feel for it I'll more than likely have to see an already approved test. In the meantime, I'll ponder whether or not I should join.

Acceptable level of fight survival unless of course im playin the romantic card in that case i just fight to protect my love and all that jazz...
Combat centric would be any RPs, to me, aren't about the amount of fighting that takes place, but how much the players and GM seem to focus on how combat compatible the characters are. If everyone can wield a weapon, its probably combat centric. If anyone has a power of some sort that can cause damage, its probably combat centric.

Anytime where the game puts players in a mind set where they have to think about fight survivability or power level, is probably combat centric.

I'd suggest that it has to do with how situations are resolved. If combat is what the characters turn to in order to resolve the average situation, it's going to be a combat-centric RP. You might all be FBI agents, and therefore all carrying service pistols and be well-versed in their use, but if the RP's theme is that shoot-outs are an incredibly bad idea, and if you get involved in a fight, you'd better have a darn good reason, you probably aren't in a combat-centric game. In that sort of a game, it's probably more investigative-themed, with a strong focus on skill use and talking your way out of situations, even though "everyone can wield a weapon." If the average complication results in a fight; it's combat-centric. If the average complication results in a role-playing event (talking your way into or out of a situation, defusing a bomb, starting a fire as a diversion, whatever), then the game isn't combat-centric, even if the characters are combat-capable.

Probably because....there's what, 7 - 11 people joining? (Imma not count properly today) and some of those people were renowned writers of essay proportion posts so...yeah, may take a while o read them and then decide if they are poop or not.

And then there's people like me, who're trying to leverage novel writing skill and extensive tabletop experience into something that works in forum style RP.

Hmm, I'm a little on the fence about this, I've only played in 2 RPs and both of them have died not too long since I joined (Still hoping that Roll to Dodge isn't dead).

Problem? Take it up with my Panzer.

I don't know if I'm eligible considering my 2 disappearances, but as I do believe I'm finally back for good, I would be interested in this.
In the name of meaningless posting! :redhair:

I second this... it's been three days for me, and maybe I'm just impatient, but shouldn't I have at least heard something by now? Really, anything. Or am I alone in not hearing anything?

Brand new board, brand new rules, some kinks to work out.

Give it a little time. You're not missing out on a whole lot yet.
