Lily, The Corv

Lily nodded, it wasn't really a choice because part of the contract was being pardoned and if they refused well... dont know about the metal giant but she would become crow feast in a matter of seconds the if she said no. "Not like I have much of a choice. I'm in." Looking at the metal man, she could only think how easy it would be with him along. The rest of the group that suddenly showed up was also quite a bonus. Looking at Zachary, Lily whispered back. "Same here. Although lets stick behind Mr Tinman here."

The Corv clapped his hands together once. "Excellent! Its good to see that people on this deserted rock can still see reason..." Then for the technical stuff. "The raiders are your typical losers you see in the wastes. The only thing abnormal about this pathetic band of animal is the size of it. We estimated 500 easily." Turning around Corv slowly made his way to one of the gatling tank. "Organization minimal, heavy equipment practically non existent, useless fodder." Getting up on one of the tank, the Corv simply sat down on the side of the turret. "As mentioned, you will be pardoned for this little... disturbance of the peace, catch a nifty bounty, a yet to be revealed gift aaannnddd... be on my goodside, which is all that really matters... really. Well, toodles! Hope you survive and all that." The last part was said in a really uncaring, sarcastic tone and with that he and his little regiment left the wreckage that was the bar. "That man has issues... or drunk on power..."

Jacob's POV
Jacob slightly twitched as Zach projected his words into his head, he whispered quietly. "Respect is all that matters. Respect brings customers back." Turning to the rest of the group and leaning on a nearby wall, causing it to tilt slightly as he leaned on it, Jacob cleared his throat before speaking. "So no heavy equipment? Great. I shall gladly accept this contract. And who knows, maybe this will draw in more customers. I also say that I spearhead this operation, since if they truly have no heavy equipment, I'll be the one that takes the least amount of damage."

Walking to the group with the earth woman and listening in on what transpired Roland couldn't but help feel guilty. "Hey I'm sure you guys can use a tech savy gun weilder. Not to mention it is my fault for the things that went down earlier. My foolish notion of justice got the better of me in trying to help a man with poor odds. I'm driven by it to see payment for my actions that caused this mess. Anything that the Corv plans on giving to those that helps is all yours. I just want to get rid of my guilt, deal?" Roland asked to the group and held his hand out to be shaken. It didn't really matter since he was going one way or another, but allies were always good to have.

Alex shrugged. "It all comes down to price, really." He said, hopping down from the side of the tank as it started to drive away. "Well then. Are we going to...A, charge aimlessly, or B, find a strategy? Try to maim, rather than kill. I like to take prisoners."

"Prisoners are a hassle." Half muttering under his breath he adds, "I'm gonna need more ammo..." Dom seems to zone out for a moment as he takes count of the ammo he was carrying. "We should probably scout out the area around the raiders and formulate a proper strategy. Rushing in doesn't work if they have the numbers... Unless you're a walking tank" glancing at Jacob. "That's an obvious advantage, depending on their weaponry." Dom continues on his plan-forming rant slowly working its way into half-coherent mumbling.

Jacob's POV
Jacob sat down on a nearby metal box, depressing it. "Well, if what the Corv said was correct, then they shouldn't have anything capable of punching through my armor. So how about y'all hide behind me and use me as moving cover while I mow down the lightly armored people? It worked here and when I protect my clients, and unless the Raiders are more heavily armored then the Corv's troops, it'll work against them too. While they ,hopefully, attempt their futile attacks on me, I'll advance until we're right in front of their camp. Then we'll split up into groups and spread out, try to do as much damage as possible. I'll draw as much attention with whoever I can backing me up while we're charging. That sound good?"

Alex just shrugged and put his rifle back underneath the cloak. "Whatever. I'll scout, I guess."

Lily

Lily liked the giant tinmans plan, it seemed pretty good and she doubted the raiders would do nothing more then just charge them enmasse. "I'm going with tinman's plan. And before we go charge in glorious battle..." She said sarcastically. "It might be a good idea to know eachother a bit dont you guys think? My name is Lily Tan, of the Desro Agency."

MEANWHILE

In the outskirts of the Kingston settlement, the Saint himself was speeding off into the distance on his hover boots. The harsh sand suddenly jammed them as he hit face first into the sand dunes. "GAH! pftf-pffttf. Get it out of my mouth! yuk..." He continued to climb the dune until the raider encampment came to view. A massive line of makeshift tents and buildings, ragged and slum like. Everyone seemed to be at the center of the camp where a giant bonfire, which upon hindsight you could probably see the smoke from Kingston. The all seemed to be having one hell of a party as the warboss was on a stage in front of the group, the infamous POTATO BOSS!.

"CHOP THERE HEADS OFF!"
"LIKE A BAOSS!"
"STEAL THERE STUFF!"
"LIKE A BOSS!"
"TAKE THERE WOMEN!"
"LIKE A BAOSS!"
"THEN RUN LIKE HEEEEEELLLL!!"
"LIKE A BOSS!!!!"

Alex bowed semi-mockingly to Lily. "I'm Alex Tennant, mercenary and slaver. One of the best this side of the planet." He looked around. "I -hope- none of you have a problem with the slave trade."
He glanced up to a rooftop to the right of the group. Unseen to them, his vessel, the Dawn Chaser, sat silently on the top of the building, the distortion of the cloaking device invisible unless you're actually looking for it.

Dom stops his rant, "Dom Mor'den, sniper, mercenary, pit-fighter, stealth op... What have you. I can provide cover while you charge, just in case, then I can follow you in." He look over at Jacob, who seemed to be taking charge of the group, "Where shall we begin?"

Zach nodded "Zachary stills, telepath dune dweller, survivalist, gunslinger, i guess I'll cover the rear of the frontal assault, btw...never give me a walkie talkie...seeing as how I'm mute... if you do...that just shows something on your part, not saying any of you have that."

Carlos exited the secret tunnels in a little shack in the middle of the slums. Two people were waiting for him. One was about his age and seemed like a hardened gang member who said, "Priest sir, I have some bad news. We sighted the Saint but he was able to get away from our men." Carlos dusted himself off and nodded before saying, "Well that doesn't matter now. I guess that I need to have a chat with the corv and see what exactly I can work out." He nodded to the other person who was just a little kid, maybe 11 years old, and said, "Ok little one that's your job go tell the corv's men that I'm asking for a meeting and give him this." Carlos handed the kid a small two way radio and the kid ran out of the shack to complete his mission.
Strength is not physical ability it is the ability to endure great pains and continue fighting.

Jacob's POV
Jacob stood up and nodded along as every one introduced themselves. "Jacob Darby, former Merc, 15 minutes of famer, and as of currently, bodyguard." Jacob shrugged at all their suggestions. "I don't really need much cover, unless they have Anti Tank weapons. Then I may need cover. But otherwise, y'all just hide behind me while I push the line forward and into their base. OK? Now then, will someone kindly point to the direction of where this raider camp, cause I have no clue."

Lily

Looking around, she spotted a big smoke signal coming from the south east. "I'm betting that way. Camped tribal raiders has a tendency of making over sized bon fires for rituals and such." Leading the way, Lily started walking out of the town, noticing another group of Corvs men arriving into the city. "I guess its official, great Kingston is no longer independent... This is gonna piss off more then a few smugglers..."

(Small timeskip so we can arrive at the camp)

Crouched in a dune, Lily used her glasses to zoom in on the camp. Typical tribal raiders, some of them didn't even have guns, swords and nailed bats. "Surprising how such a group can still be successful in this day and age." She said to herself but loud enough for others to hear.

(Feel free to get the kid talk to one of the Corvs men Basitin)

At the fact that nobody noticed his hand, or his being, Roland decided to simply walk home and say, "Well nuts to the lot of you. My guilt isn't bothering me now after being rudely ingnored after I said I would help for making the mess." As such Roland goes home and begins working on his new invention.
