A small whirring sound came from Markus's direction. "Exodus says they're that way." Markus pointed in the opposite direction Iggy just stated. "I'm not one to argue with a computer with a map. Unless the computers on this thing haven't been updated in forever I have reason to believe Exodus is right on this one." Markus smiled a bit. "Did you all forget your maps or something?"

Kat pulled out her map and showed it to Markus. "I have one, but the screen broke when I fell on it." She chuckled nervously and stuffed it back in her pocket. "I'll have one of the techs on the ship fix it later."

"I agree with the direction but there are a number of changes to the ship that apparently have not been updated. Anyway it appears we all agree so let's go."

Valeriya starts moving south.

"Eh, that's good enough for me. I'll tag along." Vincent replied and he followed Valeriya. "What do you mean by 'changes to the ship?'" Vincent asked.

Dr.Hale blinked at the woman's appearance, but any lost composure was slight and quickly recovered.
"And you must be Flick." Dr. Hale climbed up the ladder and sat down in the back seat of the machina. It was cramped and hot, with all sorts of foreign instruments crowding up his room for sitting. No less than three keyboards were arrayed around him, for some arcane battlefield purpose he had yet to divine.

The whole thing got very dark as the cockpit closed behind Felicity, with the only light being provided by her various instrument panels. They continued on towards their destination in silence, with the only noise coming from various mechanical whirring sounds made by the Delta.

Dr.Hale spoke up first.
"You know, when I was trawling the 'nets for mercenaries, I didn't find anything on what you looked like...from the descriptions, I half expected a young man covered in scars."

Flick smiled after Dr Hale's comment. "You wouldn't believe the number of people that have that same response when they first meet me. It's everybody's reaction."
Flick giggled softly before realizing that the back seat was still incredibly cramped from all her junk. She spoke over her shoulder "If you push the big red button that's directly above your head all the equipment infront of and around you will slip back into their storage cavities and give you more room"

Mysk

Mysk looked around after the speakers told them to go to there designated stations. "Great, now where exactly would that be?" Looking around some more, he just walked around aimlessly through several corridors for a while. After a bit of blindly through the ship, he found what looked like a cafeteria. "Good enough for now I suppose." Taking a seat in the middle of the room, he hanged on the two back legs of his chair while his boots where on the table, waiting for any further announcements.

The rooms were all lined up along both sides of one hallway, with numbered labels on the doors being the only thing telling the various rooms apart. Each door slid open or closed with a fairly gentle tug on the recessed handle, revealing the rooms within.

Each room was done up with incredible skill to ensure that its residents forgot they were, in fact, in space. The furniture looked like furniture, beds looked like beds, and instead of cold metal the floors were carpeted. Even the bathrooms attached to each room took this design idea to heart; the machinery required to clear the air of any stray water droplets took the form of fans hidden in the floor and ceiling.

"Heh, I can imagine. It's not what people tend to expect..."
Dr. Hale wasted no time in pushing the button when it was pointed out to him. Usually he made a habit of not pressing large shiny red buttons, but the extra legroom was immediately appreciated.
"I don't think I've seen a unit like this before, either...you'll have to tell me about it sometime. I'm a mechatronics engineer, you see."
He leaned back in his seat, taking in all the glory that a few extra inches of space could provide, when a small flash of pink near Flick caught his attention.
"Oh, yeah. Been meaning to ask you-why the scarf? It's not exactly cool weather around here, after all."

Flick looked down at her scarf, the ends pooling together in her lap. "It's my lucky scarf. I've had it all my life and it always seems to bring me luck when I'm wearing it. And about the mecha, it was the first and only one of it's type ever built. You won't find another like it no matter where you ask. If you like you can flick through the manuals on it some time. They're all at my house."
She then looked at her guidance system, they were pretty close to her villa and it would only be a five minute detour to drop past and grab the books and blueprints.
"If you want we can make a five minute detour and I'll grab you the books and blueprints."

The comms officer started talking to Rachel again once the ship reached orbit.
"Knight 11, this is Gravitas command. We're going to be doing the point defence tests in a little while, so you'll want to land and get refitted with the M3 equipment-you know, the one with way too many missiles. Oh! And say hi to the other two pilots if you see them around."

******
Dr. Hale smiled at the invitation. Being on friendly terms with her was nice. But time wasn't really on their side.
"I'd love to read up on it...after we do this. Just get us to the military base as quickly as you can, and make sure you're ready to run the hell away if anything goes horribly wrong."

Rachel's POV
Rachel's eyebrow lifted at the mention of the M3 weapons system. "You know, I never did figure out why they decided to stick 3-400 micro missiles onto 4 hardpoints. OK then, landing." The Knight banked towards the Gravitas and in a few minutes landed. Opening the cockpit she jumped out and walked over to a nearby techie. "OK, standard hardpoints, 4 of them. Treat him well. He falls apart enough times as it already is. Call me on the com or something when you're done." With that she left and entered the hallway, looking around for someone.

Flick was a bit freaked out at the mention of the possibilty of running. That wasn't mentioned in the brief she had, otherwise she would've dropped the railgun unit before leaving home.
"If you're going to the military base with permission why would we possibly have to run away? What could possibly go wrong? And why was that possibility not mention in the brief?"
She asked the questions in quick secession expecting an answer for all three, as opposed to pausing in-between each question for an answer.

Valeriya reached the quarters and slid open her door.

"What the... These are awesome! I heard that this was originally a cruise ship but I never imagined that they would have kept the rooms like this!"

Valeriya removed her sword belt, tossed it onto a coat rack and lay back on the bed.

"It's been years since I've been able to relax on a real bed."

Following this group was a good idea, as they now had finally found their quarters. Iggy rushed into his room and quickly surveyed his surroundings with a smile. "Huh, nice place. I could definitely get used to these surroundings." He pulled up a chair from the desk in his room and sat down. "Traveling through space to god knows where wont be as bad as I thought."
