Arachna Grim Muort

Arachna just snarled at Dailain. "Well, at least he has some backbone. What kind of name is "lightfeet" anyways? Sounds weak." Muort seemed to chuckle a bit. "Ho but speed and being agile is a... strength of its own for is it not my strengths?" "Your different." Muort simply chuckled again. "In what way?" Arachna simply punched him again as she sighed. "There calling for dragons, now get before I chop your head off." Laughing, Muort flew away as his slithry snake form seemed to move fluently in the sky.

Following the teacher, Arachna had no problems with the thought of physical tests, that'd be pretty easy. Although the thought of relinquishing her claymore was another matter entirely. "Being unarmed is a pain..." She said to herself as she took out her claymore, slowly putting it on the rack with a painful expression on her face. "I better get my sword back when this is done!"

Matthias removed his sheath and put his sword on the rack. He didn't like going anywhere without it, but the idea of getting to trouble wasn't one that appealed to him. Besides, that was Adulesa's job.

Push-ups? This'll be just like when Father taught me to use a sword.

Adulesa was following behind, not really paying attention to anything or anyone. She hadn't really flown properly for a while, with Matthias preferring to ride on her like she was a horse, and relished this chance to stretch her wings.

Geist, Darius's POV
Geist simply split off from Darius and started to follow the dragon group on the ground. Despite his inability to fly, he managed to keep up and pass the group. Geist spotted a fairly tall tree, jumped up on it, climbed to the top, and jumped off, breaking into a glide. Meanwhile, Darius took off his two spears and put them on the rack. He sat down in some nearby shade and waited for further instructions.

Shane took a moment to unfasten the sheath from his waist, putting his short sword onto the rack. He then unsheathed the machete fastened across his back, placing it right next to his sword. "You know... I should probably get a new one." he made a mental note of all the chips and rust on his machete. Shane backed up to give the others more room to move around; he cracked his knuckles in anticipation. Even though it was pretty much a physical examination, Shane was always a competitive soul. "Ah what luck, I forgot to do my warm-ups today. This should be a good substitute." He grinned, not caring if anyone was really paying attention; his mind was in the zone now.

Yowan followed the soldier until he stopped at the courtyard. "Right then. If you're fast, then you shouldn't have a problem catching up with the others." The soldier pointed in the direction the other dragons flew off in. Yowan didn't waste any time getting herself airborne. Once she was over the buildings, she let gravity take hold as she smoothly glided over to where the others had congregated. As Yowan landed, she surveyed the area, wondering if any of the other dragons would actually be friendly. She had terrible interactions in the past, and she didn't want a repeat of before.

Drake

[/color]Drake adjusted the large sword strapped over his back and looked at the others. Seeing that they were removing their weapons, Drake sighed and did the same, placing it on the rack with the others. "We'll get them back right? That sword was crafted by my grandfather." Drake looked to Arcks, awaiting an answer.

Bane

[/color]Bane took to the air behind the others and quickly caught up to them. Never one to talk, Bane simply remained silent for the flight, keeping pace with the others.

I suppose that means my claw too...fine, here. Although I see no point to this, i'm just as capable of killing people with magic then with weapons. Alistair said, taking off his claw and sighing. He loathed to be parted from the only things in the world he owned and felt he at least deserved a reason for it.



Sirrush was flying near the back of the group of dragons, Alistair had told him that maybe he would like to speak with other dragons as opposed to just Alistair and the old one, but so far no such inclination had come over him, and he flew in silence.

Arcks looked at them all and said, "It's for good reasons. There have been times where someone joined the academy and ended up defeating the purpose of training because they were too weak to use weapons or armor. Magic is no reason to be excluded from something to keep you from looking like twigs with skin. As for your weapons, they will be returned after we finish. Plus, why would you want your weaponry on while exercising? Extra weight and you can't exercise then."" he said, as he himself took off his sword and shield, putting them on the rack too then looked at the squad. "Is that everyone?" he asked after Talia had put her bow & arrows on the rack.

Hmph.....it would be worth the extra weight as long as I know where my things are..... replied Alistair, crossing his arms, he wasn't really used to this type of authority but he assumed that not questioning teachers was common sense in this society, strange as it might be.

So, what first then........sir? asked Alistair, quickly remembering the manners the hermit had taught him before he left.

Adulesa turned her serpentine neck and looked at the dragon following at the rear. She had never seen any dragons unlike her before Matthias brought her along to this academy, and she couldn't help herself. She slowed down and brought herself level with him. The fact that she was dwarfed by this one didn't concern her a bit.

Hi. I'm Adulesa. Who're you?

Aeryn
Aeryn followed the soldier into his baracks, and looked around. He was disappointed that nothing seemed to be green, but this was a baracks. "Please remove any weapons and armor you might have and put them on the rack." the soldier told the group. Aeryn took off the belt with Phobos' and Deimos' sheathes and placed it on the rack.
"So, when do we start? What time is it anyway? Tick tock tick tock...." he trailed off, his mind going off in a completely different direction as he stared into space.

Sirrush blinked in surprise and turned his head to look at the small dragon that had seeming come out of nowhere and interrupted his brooding. My name is Sirrush, a....pleasure to meet you Adulesa. replied Sirrush, almost awkwardly as he normally let Alistair do the conversing for them both and wasn't used to speaking for himself.

He flapped his wings a few times self-consciously then decided upon a question from the many that presented themselves to him: so whats your story?

Zharnash:
Upon hearing the tutors instructions, Zharnash unbuckled the short sword at his side and placed it on the rack, then sighed and rhetorically asked 'I guess this counts as a weapon' while pointing to his staff, placing that alongside his short sword. He then took up a place in line next to the other students, awaiting further instructions.

Got lost in a blizzard. Spent a few days trying to get back. Gave up, then ran into my human. He's really nice. I think you'll like him.

Adulesa thought back to what had happened recently. Yeah, they argued. It was a perfectly normal relationship, as far as she was concerned.

What about you? How'd you meet your human?

Arriving at the barracks he cringed when he was told to deposite his weapon. The most important rule of being a nomad was to never travel unarmed, better to have a hundred weapons and never use them then to be attacked and robed. Putting his scythe on the rack he hoped the guard wouldnt notice his concealed weapons, trying to throw him off he put two hidden knifes as well on the rack so he wouldn't be noticed.

Sirrush snorted, he doubted that he would ever like any human but his own, but he refrained from informing her in case she took offense.

I met my human after he stole me from a particularly fat human trader in town, who had bartered me from another trader who had bartered me from...well, you get the idea. I don't really remember much before that. Sirrush replied, trying to put the memory of the town out of his head, but he had been reminded of it constantly while he has been among so many other humans.
