Dmitrii dived in after them then shook his head."Only my assult gun and rifle. Is there anything in the truck? A mine or some greanades perhaps? He slowy popped his head out of the snow watching the tank coming. "Well we'd better stay here. They will find the truck soon enough."

(sorry, but we're getting stuck and we're not even out of the intro, Timeskip, also, would you mind that in later stage the RP will mutate in a free RP? well, semi free. I realized too late that I'm railroading, and oh yeah, maybe the russians could get the truck working till the storm actually really hits.)

the tank drives through the snow, not noticing the three small dumps in the snow. it turns south, away from the russians, and crawls over the snow...

1 hour later.

the storm caught up with them, visibility was very low, the winds shrieked around them, blowing the snow into the air, there was mist, and it was terrible cold. Werner was glad he was in the tank. it wasn't much better, but atleast he's out of the wind.
"finally" Commander Werner let out as he could spot the camp. he looked forward to something warm, even if it was just soup. he was tired and cold, and he can't imagine how the grenadiers outside were.
strange.. no lights at the camp. guess they went to sleep already... even though they would leave guard posts. Commander werner looks at his watch. 14:12. what?! it should be bright outside, but it looks like deepest night! maybe the storms just that thick, and hey, its winter, in Russia.. no need to worry...
however, Werner still pulls out a cigarette and lights it to calm his nerves.

Dom keeps the tank moving towards the main gate, confused at it being open, but continues through, heading towards the vehicle depot. "Commander, where is everyone?" he asks back through the hatch. Keeping his eyes on the episcope, he steers into his tank's space, just noticing that the other tanks look destroyed in their stalls. "What happened here?" he asks softly.

Luka's POV
Luka jumped off the tank and looked around. Nothing. As he listened, he attempted to hear something else besides the roar and whistle of the snow and wind. Still nothing. As he looked around, his grip on his rifle tightened. He leaned over to Hienrich and whispered. "Hienrich, do you hear that? On second thought, don't answer that. The silence... is overwhelming. There is literally nothing. I know we're in a war, but shouldn't the guards have at least asked us for identification by now?" Luka noticed something by the side of the tank. Leaning closer he managed to make out a dark spot in the snow. Luka scooped up the snow and sniffed it. Smelling nothing, he took a bit of it and tasted it. "blood....." Luka looked around and his grip on his rifle tightened even more so. "Uh Commander? Something is terribly wrong here."

Hienrich is nearly frozen on the tank, his hopes shattered when the camp was of nothing but darkness and emtpiness. Heinrich looked upon Luka, and got down from the tank to also scout with Luka. He took out his Panzerfaust and kept it at his sholder, making sure no rouge panzer or communist tank pop out anywhere. Heinrich turned and waved a sign to Dom to scout ot more of the camp to figure out what has happen. Heinrich tried to calm himself down with ode to joy, singing it is a very, very low olume so that he may hear most of his surroundings. "Something is terribly wrong here! Both it couldn't be Russians, could it?" He turned to Luka.

Dmitrii stood up and shook all the snow off him. He looked around seeing the tank had gone. "Come comrades we must keep moving before the storm picks up again" He grabbed the two helping them out of the snow. "So we either fix that dam truck or we head into the farmhouse. What do you think ay?"

He looked around.

(the russians can time skip too if they want.)

Werner looked outside through the viewing slits, more and more unnerved. something awful happened here. there was no life anywhere, no tracks in the snow, not a single sight of battle, the tanks were blacked and burned, but not by an explosion or enemy shell, the whole camp looked as if it was abandoned just a few hours ago, there was some blood, but no bodies... no bodies.. Werner could feel a something crawl up his spine. he looked down, took another breath of smoke from his cigarette to calm his nerves. he looks up again, over to his escort: Luka and heinrich. somethings wrong. a plan formulates in Werners head.

he opens the hatch, ignores the cold and hauls himself up so that his head pops up.
"Heinrich! Luka! try to find food, supplies, mostly fuel! and winterclothing! maybe a tent or something!"
Werner points over to the barracks, a quickly assembled building already half buried in snow.. it looked like it snowed stronger there.. then, while looking at the barrack, in the corner of his eyes Werner sees movement to the right, on the tank depot. startled he looks over there, but there was nothing but snowed in ruined tanks and fuel trucks.
I'm getting crazy. heh. No wonder, he thinks to himself, this situation is unsettling.

he sinks back to his commander seat inside the tank, and closes the hatch above him. his cigarette went out in the wind. he lights it again and takes a long breath of nicotine.
"dom. drive to the barracks, I don't want to stay here..." its feels like somebody is staring at your back, all the time... the second Werner realized that feeling, it got worse. allot worse. hopefully its just him... ((its not))

Luka's POV
"Yes sir!" Luka moved into the camp, slinging his rifle behind him and raking out his MP40. As he crept into the camp, he noted that were no bodies in sight. Just a splash of blood here and there. Tanks were gone too. Tanks looked like if they were burned in a giant fire or something. As he made his way to the armoury, he heard some movement. Luka swung around behind him... nothing. Letting out a sigh of relief, Luka continued on to the armoury. As he made his way in, he noticed how all the weapons were still here. Whatever hit here must've hit fast if the rest of the men couldn't make it to the weapons in time. Luka shuddered to think what could've happened here while they were gone. Luka grabbed some extra ammo, just in case. He then proceeded to make his way to the supply depot.

"Jawohl, mien Kommandant!" Heinrich nodded to Werner and carried out his order. He placed the Panzerfuast back into his pack and unslinged the Kars. As fast as he could, he ran to into the camp to catch up; however the Snow is slowing him down, but he still tries. He sees Luka heading for the Armory, so Heinrich decided to move to the Barraks then to the Chow hall for winter linen and food. Heinrich made it to the barraks door, but it was locked. He pounded the door with his shoulder, but to no avail. Tired and frustated he decided to kick down the door, seeing that the complete outline of the door seemed to be frozen. Opening it to notice the eerie feeling of the broken down barraks as snow would invade the barraks from uptop, the roof had holes in them, large ones. Henrich kept the rifle aimed, using the rifle as a eye. Shifting back and forth, Henrich wanted to make sure it was clear, hearing creeking in the wood planks undernieth him, he thought it was something else. Sighing, he decides to secure the some of the blankets that were tossed on the ground. It was like, they tried to escape, they tried to get out, but what happened to them?

Hienrich then moved on to the Officer's section of the barraks, surely they must have the best wintercoats. Heinrich found locked boxes and nothing to open them with, no keys, no pryers, no cutters. He sighed once more,I guess I have to use my rifle. He took the Kars and pounded the locks off the secured lockers. "Ah wintercoats, the best thing a soldat like us can...." Heirnich was interupted by another noise, but this time it wasn't his, he pointed the rifle all over the place, keeping an eye on every angel. Nothing happened and heinrich was relieved. "Ok so I have coats, linen, ah yes I need a tent for the others, then I will head to the Chow Hall." Heinrich went back to the Soldiers barrack to break in locks and find a tent, then his next mission will to be to hunt for food at the Chow Hall.

Werner slung his coat closer around him. so much to worry, and he has to bring his men to safety. this creeping feeling. ugh..

===
just as Heinrich broke open the lock of the soldiers rooms, and stepped in, the roof above him creaks eerily, before collapsing, then tears open and releases a barrage of snow in front of him. almost halfway burying him unless he had made a quick reflexive step back. it was dark inside, and if he would look up, he would see the splintered remains of a eerily round opening through which one could see the snowstorm, and for a fraction of a second, a dark shadow leaning over the hole, but then the illusion disappears, replaced by a storm of thick snowflakes. the ceiling was the floor of the roof space, and the roof full of holes. both were made of sturdy wood. the hole's edges looked rotten and then frozen over.... but the house was new...

Dom backs the tank back out of the stall, moving it closer to the barracks entryway. *We should probably stop by the fuel depot before we leave* the tanks stops a few feet from the door, filling the view of anyone inside. "What are your orders, Commander?" Dom reaches across to the hull MG controls, testing if the gun had yet to be frozen in place, thankfully it wasn't. Dom rubs his hands together, blowing between them, trying to warm up a little more.

((last post tonight from me))

Werner looks up when he hears Dom ask about it. he peeks past the cannon down to the driver seat. "we're stocking up on everything, then get out of here.. back, west... our battalion is gone, we're probably the only survivors.. someone has to report what happened..." Werner goes silent for a minute, waiting for the two grenadiere to return. he's tempted to go outside and help, but the cold kept him in the tank.

Jan had been on guard duty the night before and when he heard a strange noise he went to investigate. After following the noise just out of sight of the camp he realized that he was standing on a frozen lake. He decided to give up but when he turned to walk back he slipped, hit his head, and was knocked unconsious. Jan wasn't sure how long he had been knocked out but when he came to he was almost completely covered in snow and it seemed even darker outside then before. He tried to walk back to base but an extremely bad snow storm had hit. He couldn't see anything, hear anything, and soon realized that he was completely lost. For hours he just continued walking around because if he stopped he would surely freeze to death but the whole time he felt as if someone was watching him. Everytime he thought he saw something though he would turn and nothing would be there. Finally he found some recent tank tracks and followed them. They lead him right into camp. His body was shutting down on him as he walked into the camp. He knew that something was very wrong but he couldn't focus enough to recognize the strange scene all around him. He saw the tank infront of the barracks and staggers over to it. He can't even yelled over the sound of the engine so he bangs on the side of the tank with the butt of his MP40 praying the whole time that someone will help me. Then before anyone could even emerge from the tank he collasped. Once again he is unconcious as his body finally gave in to the exhaustion and frost bite he lays in the snow next to the tank more dead then alive.

Hienrich was now just afraid, first it was the creepiness in the Officers quaters, then nearly crushed by snow and now he was seeing things from the roof, this was getting to much for him and he just wanted to get back to the panzer. He had running thoughts pounding through his head like a steam engine, each rotation and pounding a thousand thoughts kept telling him to stand his ground and fight or to run away and live and even saying that he is going completly mad. Suddenly it just had to stop! Heinrich took a deep breath, then released; afterwards he started to hum Ode to Joy once more, then started to mumble the words. It soothed his temporary mental breakdown and he decided to continue his mission, "For the Fatherland!" After rummbling through lockers and beds, he finally found some tents. He heard more noises, not comming from him, but he decided to ignore it singing the National anthem of the Fatherland.

He decided to find a way out seeing how one of the doors seemed to be encolsed by snow. He hummed his way to another exit, however that one's handle was frozen, unable to turn; Heinrich took an educated guess and said that the entire door is pretty much frozen shut. "There has to be an easier way of doing this...Where is an axe around here?" After searching around the beds he found an axe...stuck to the floorboards...covered in blood. Heinrich chills came back, but then put out by enragement. "Oh für Bumsengrund!" The noise came back, and it was staring at Heinrich, and he couldn't stand it anymore. Giving a bloody roar, he grabbed the axe and started to pull it out the floor, still yelling at as if he were killing something. He pulled of the entire handel while the axe still remains to be stuck in the floor board. He decided that he had enough, he took his kars and started to pound on the door. He found the effort futile, so he decided to shoot key parts to the door. He aimed at the hinges and shot the first one, Cocking the Kars once then shot the other hinge, the cocked it again. He took a good distance from the door and blitz towards the door, using his shoulder as a ram. Managing yto escape the Barraks he looked back and felt wind come from inside the barraks. He decided not to dwell on the subject and hoped the door would just collapse undersnow.

Heinrich made his way to the chow hall, hoping it would be better then the soldiers barraks, but he knows that it will only get worse. "I wished I was stationed at Berlin!" Heinrich cried out!

Werner startled up, his entire being shocked to the core as he hears the sound of metal banging against metal on the outside of the tank. his hand reach for the MP40 next to his seat, he checks the ammo and holds it firm in his hands. he peeks through the cupola's viewing slits, knowing that whatever banged on the exterior was too close to see through the narrow perspective. he had to get out. but not alone.
BAM!... BAMM!!

two distinctive, loud Kar98k shots penetrate the howling of the wind and storm. something was wrong! the silence after the two shots and the two bangs chilled his being. they had to get out of here, as fast as possible! screw the tank, his instinct says. whatever did this could blow them up anyway. "dom, open that hatch above you and look what's going on. I'll.. cover you." he turned around, so that he faced the back of the niche he had, and the back of the tank, then opened the hatch above him carefully and brought his MP40 to bear. his hands are shaking, and the sudden wind and cold blew out his cigarette...
