Yoria was sitting perched on a tree, watching the throng of new students from a distance. She had left Leonardo to keep an eye on Gabriel and Illyssa, partly because she wanted to see what she would be dealing with, and partly because their constant arguing got on her nerves. She watched as Prudence stood at the gate of Dal'Turim, her red hair gleaming like the fire she controlled like an extension of her body. She was too far away to see much more than that, though.

((OKAY, here's how things are. Kimbo, Prudence is standing inside the courtyard, as are the students. y7h65 and Gabe's characters are in the small building that serves as the dining area. Students, feel free to mill around a bit and get to know each other before you're sent to class. And me? I'm in one of the trees at the far end of the courtyard, half-hidden by the foliage.))

Leo's POV
Leonardo watched Gabriel and Illyssa intensely from one of the benches, silent. He knew of their history of constant bickering and of Gabriel's ability to always mess up something in one way or the other. A quick look out the window confirmed that the students were arriving. Leo wondered to himself about the students he would receive this year. He hoped that he didn't end up with another group of stuck up elitist snobs again. The last class dropped out half way through, citing "Personal Reasons" as their reason for leaving. Tch~ Those kids got the warnings and thought he was joking. They learned their lesson. Hey, maybe this year, he won't have to poke out someone's eye again.

An anxious and excited heart gripped Jaffar's senses as he approached the gates of the academy. He had been waiting for this day his entire life and it finally came to him after so long. Despite the fact that his father was dissapointed with him for not being a warrior, he shook that thought off his head and trudged on. Standing at the gates, he took a deep breath and smiled, gazing at the landscape and the academy itself. It seemed to greet him with a pleasant atmosphere and a timely wind. 

He then looked down and opened his palm, and in an instant a small flame of mystic fire hovered above his hand. It lasted for a few seconds and it disappeared. "Someday." Jaffar thought, reaching and gripping the tribe crest which hung around his neck. "Someday, Ill make Father proud and the flames of my heart will become an inferno."

He pressed on into the courtyard. He sniffed the air and detected another one's presence. He turned to see another being with fire red hair. He then waved at her and made his way to her. 

"Greetings. I am Jaffar Zoran of the Yemin clan." he said, lowering his head with his hand on his left chest.

Glasa

Arraving at the front gates, a pale colored girl with blue tattoos covered her body as pure blue diamonds covered her clothing. She almost seemed to be panting as she seemed overwhelmed by the heat. "By the winter solstice, how do people live in such weather..." She said to herself as she started walking in the courtyard. Suddenly, a small gust of cool wind started to envelop her as her clothing flapped in the wind, a smile of relief and happiness grew on her face as she cooled off.

Prudence

Prudence had a welcoming smile on her face as she watched the students mingle and and chatter eagerly with eachother.
She was so excited for this new school year, new students, new talent, new starts. She stood watching with her hands behind her back, she spotted a young wolf looking down at his hand, a small flame ignited in his palm and then it disappeared. Her heart skipped a beat as she noticed he was walking toward her, waving, she smiled at his approach. She was always nervous meeting new students, but she could tell he would be a excellent learner. "Greetings. I am Jaffar Zoran of the Yemin clan" he said. "Hello Jaffar, my name is Ms. Delcine, I'll be your teacher this year." she said with a ecstatic smile.

Talia

Talia looks at the building in amazement. "Oooh...This place is biiiig...This is so exciting!" she yelled, running for the building excitingly. She had a simple suit(minus the sleeves, long stockings, and hat) that let wind cool her down easily, quickly running through till she saw something that caught her eyes. Some girl dressing in blue and Talia stopped running and walked towards her slowly and said, "Hey, I couldn't help but to notice you're clothing...It's pretty...Oh, and I'm Talia." she said happily, and curiously looking at her.

Audrey walked through the main gate and looked around. Seeing all the other students, all pure Human, Draco, Aven, and Anima. She was the only hybrid, she felt out of place. She walked over and sat down near a tree, preferring to avoid everyone for the time being. Not to mention she wanted to avoid the ridicule. She adjusted the hat she was wearing, it was making her ears hurt some. She couldn't hide her tail, not without wearing bulky, suspicious looking clothing at least. Her tail swished out from behind her. She looked up and saw an Aven watching the other students from the tree. She shrugged and leaned against the tree, looking at all the other students.

Kairne didnt know what to do, should he stay with the other and try and make a friend/enemy or two, isolate himself to make sure he was ready for what ever this place could offer, or intorduce himself to his teacher? That last one sounded pretty good, the Red haired one just inside the courtyard might know; course it would be rude to interupt the one she was already talking to, a pyromancer judging by his display; Burning is a truely indescribable sensation, and after getting his tail set ablaze by a candle, it was one Kairne had no intention of feeling again.

Glasa

Glasa winked, the wind around her stopped as she gave a shy smile to the anima. "He-hello! I'm Glasa!" She said with a smile as she blushed. She wasn't used to the thin and sometimes revealing clothing, it made her uneasy. "Th-these clothes are tra-traditional Haradar undergarments..." She only realised what she said afterwards as her face grew red like a tomato. Not to sure what else to say, she made an akward smile and made the Haradar Tribe handwave, not realising that its probably a foreign gesture to the Anima girl.

Vazil sprinted onto the campus. "This place looks so cool!" The estatic Draco accidently bumped into Kairne while running around. "Whoops, sorry about that." She studies the red fox before her. "Hey, you're one of those Anima things aren't you?" She quickly pulls him into a bearhug. After squeezing the air out of his lungs, she lets the fox go. "Are you a student here, too?"

Drazil was sitting in the shade of a tree, reading a book about somewhat new applications for traditional medicinal herbs. He could faintly hear his sister making a ruckus already. The quiet Draco sighed, the first sound that exited his lips since he arrived. "Wow... she's only been on campus for a few seconds... I can't believe we're related..."

Jaffar smiled as he acknowledged her as his teacher. "It is an honor, Ma'am, to be under your guidance. I've wanted this my whole life! And I'm finally here!" Jaffar said, taking in a breath of air and exhaling. "Hey...hey Ms Delcine! Wh...what do you think of this?? N..ng!" Jaffar said, grunting and a flame appeared in his open palm. Using pure willpower, he managed to split the flame into tiny embers, and they dissapeared altogether after a few seconds.

"Well, that's all I can do honestly. I learnt this from some spell book of some sort..." Jaffar said.

Leonardo's POV
Leonardo turned to Illyssa and shrugged. "No Idea." He turned back to the window and started looking at the students. He noted a few particularly interesting people. One person who looks as if she was from the north and a hybrid. Adding her that would be the fifth one he'd ever seen. Damn Gabriel and Illyssa's stupid arguments. If it wasn't for their constant lack of maturity, he'd be outside, checking for who seems to be capable and who seems to be completely useless. Of course, He'd fallen into that second class once before, so it'd be hypocritical for him to just kick them out right now.

the bearhug haveing taken him by suprise, Kairne though about useing one of his clan's stealth techniques to escape the arms of suffocation.
Kimi? he asked stupidly, Oh, wait she's back home, he paused a moment to study his attacker, A dragon... female? he was never sure of gender with the lizards Who are you? he asked bluntly.

Atticus made his way slowly through the crowd. This many people in one place made it difficult to sense anything more than a few feet away. Stopping for a second, he threw out a small wave of air from his palm with the intent of finding his teacher, but there was too much interference. Coming across a bench, Atticus decided to sit and wait for the crowd to die down before going any further.

The female Draco grins brightly, revealing her carnivorous teeth. "The name's Vazil, Vazil Elok. I'm a new student here." She looks up towards the cat perched on her head and pets it gently. "And this is Kitty." She smiles back at the Anima. "What about you? What's your name, Foxy?"
