Dom scrambles to his feet, struggling to stay steady, looking around for a weapon finding the knife lodged in the can. He looked for Steve, finding him in front of the beast, distracting it away from him. Once Dom was steady, he charged at the beast leaping onto its back, stabbing it a few times in the shoulders and neck before being thrown once again. He hit his head when he landed, knocking him unconscious.

Ranalf tapped his other foot for a few seconds before calling out, "We don't have time for a picnic, get in here NOW." he yelled. He didn't want to leave the door open for the inevitable Taint that would come running from that battle. He had his crossbow in his right hand, aimed up since his arm was bent and his left hand on his hip while he waited. Rana was meanwhile inside, getting her supplies ready.

Mark

Mark scanned the surroundings, the building the person was calling them to seemed to be the most stable, and it was likely reinforced. "It's better than staying out in the open." He started jogging towards it, continually scanning the surroundings.

Lilia smiled after hearing Michaels offer. "Thanks, but I'll be fine. I still have my good arm." She slung her bag over her right shoulder, holding on tightly with her good hand. "Besides, you seem much more at home carrying that hammer than my stuff." Lilia chuckled a little as she finished. She tried to move her injured arm a little; not surprisingly, it still hurt like hell. The pain forced a small grunt out of her; she blushed a little once she realized how childish she was just then. Once she was on her feet, she followed Michael as they made their way to the building Ranalf was standing in front of.

as Dom stabbed the creatures neck, it threw him away like a puppet. however, that small second of distraction was good enough for Steve. he lungs forward, spear trusting forward, the beast turns its head back to him, just to see how the tip of the steel bayonet splits its skull and embeds itself in its brain. it didn't die instantly though. instead it charged forward with its dying moments, and clawed at Steve. He, who didn't expect this, reacted too slow. he let go of the spear as it was ripped from his hands, and ducked. he was too slow, as beforementioned, and a claw ripped his Left arm, and tossed him to the side, where he lands on a shelve, hard.
he tries to get up, but his head was spinning, and his arm burning, he could see how the beast broke off the broom handle, made two wobbly steps to him, then let out a eerie wail and fell to the ground. death. its legs and arms still twitching. steve relaxes and waits for a few precious seconds. then he gets up with a sharp hiss. he opens his jacket, and the sting of the cold entered his body. he got his wounded arm out of the sleeve, fast and painful, instead of slowly and painful.
he examines the wound. it was deep, some as deep as the bone. he stands up. walks over to dom.
he kneels besides him, and examines him for any wounds. it was average, possibly broken bones. damn.

this sucks. now steve has to make a impossible Joice. let him die and loot was he has, return to normal, or safe him, with higher risk, having to share everything, but with company...

Steve slaps Dom in the face with his healthy right hand. to check if he's dead. or wake him from unconsciousness.
Steve doesn't know if that would work though.

Dom let out a groan, rolling onto his side, then bolted upright, thinking that they were still in a fight. When he saw the dead creature and Steve kneeling in front of him. He calmed down instantly, then he saw Steve's arm and quickly turned around, fumbling in his pack, pulling out a medical wrap and peroxide, holding them out, signaling for Steve to hold out his arm. "This'll sting, but it's better than infection."

Steve smiles into his beard and stretches his arm out. luckily he's freezing, and the blood is pumped closer to the heart and not into the arms. still burns like hell.
"here. we better get those damn supplies and then we lay low for a while, ok?"

Phobia

(Small timeskip for Ranalf, Volgaia, kisuke and Lief)

As they entered the house and bolted the doors and windows for extra measures (Am thinking of a bit of common sense stuff), a figure hid in the shadows. It wondered if they would attack on sight or if there were willing giving a second to speak. 70% chance they attack, 10% they let him talk and 20% they run, thats what the creature of a man was thinking as it lurked quietly across the shadows unnoticed. Although he still had that girl, maybe if he brought her along they would be less inclined to attack. Eitherway, someone owed him a reward for saving the girl and he was going to get it in one form or another, its just business after all.

Ranalf sighed in relief as he helped finish. "Okay, now that that's done, lemme at least show my face." he said as he pulled his hood down to show his blue hair and deep blue eyes. "Sorry about rushing you all, but I don't want any Taint getting in here without a bolt in the head. I'm Ranalf." he said, still holding his crossbow with two hands, his five bolts were in a small quiver at his hip. Just then, Rana came in and looked at the guests. "This is all of them? Good. I'm Rana. We're twins." she said and Ranalf nodded. "Mhm..." he said, then looking at the three of them. "Names and any injuries?" she asked, curiously. Neither noticed Phobia in the shadows at all, as they were a bit busy tending to their guests.

Lilia sat down, resting her back against one of the walls. "Call me Lilia; and don't worry about me, my arm should be fine. she extended her good hand towards the twins. "Thanks for helping us out. I don't think us were expecting those things, whatever the hell they were."

Michael leaned against the wall next to Lilia and set his bag and hammer on the ground. "Name's Thor, and this is my trusty hammer Mjolnir" he said with a slight chuckle. "Nah, I'm Michael, it's good to find some other survivors. There was one other with us, but she got dragged off by... something."

Dom leaned forward after pouring the peroxide on Steve's arm, then wrapped the bandaging over the gashes, sealing the wounds. "Sounds like a good idea, we could stay here for now, eh?" He turns back around, looking through his back again and pulls out a few crushed cans, showing them out to Steve, "You like chili?" He uses a can opener from his pack to pop open the two cans, handing one to Steve.

Steve cracks a smile, closes his jacket again, then puts the can to the floor, and walks over to the corpse of the dead creature. careful to not step in the growing puddle of blood, he nears the skull of the creature. with his healthy hand he grabs the handle of the bayonet still lodged in the skull. he puts one boot on the creatures shoulder and pulls the knife out with a disgusting sound. he wipes the blood on the clothing of a corpse in the beforementioned Pile, then returns the bayonet into his belt, but not before Marking it as tainted by carving a big T on the blade. he'll never eat with this again.

all while doing this, he grimaced, first because of the pain, secondly, because the tainted corpse starts to stink. he doesn't want to stay here. scavengers and the hunters of scavengers will show up soon.
"that'll attract more." he said to dom, pointing to the creature. "can you move? we should atleast get away from the corpse." Steve picks the can back up from the floor, and starts eating one handed. (you figure out how)

Phobia, Izzy

As the creature kept a close look at the group, he decided to take the risk and extends his hand, which had Izzy by the collar, unconscious. The shifting figure then came out in its full form, almost 8 feet high, the constant shifting figures shape was hard to keep track as the sound of shifting and snapping bones couldn't be ignored. The figure wore a gas mask with a beak and orange glass for eye slots, it was a look that scream tainted and this one was a tall, weird one. Letting go of Izzy at the groups feet, she dropped with a thud as the creature waited for the humans to make the first move.

"Mark." His axe rested on his shoulder, ready to be used if need be. As Phobia came out of the shadows, Mark wasn't at all surprised. "Ah. Phobia, if I'm not mistaken. And I doubt I am, you're completely unique, after all." He didn't particularly care about Izzy, who had been dropped to the floor, he could care less about cannibals, even ones who had helped him out. Mark had heard stories about how Phobia traded with survivors, even seen him doing so before. He thought about asking Phobia if he had any .45 ACP rounds, but decided to wait until everyone else had the chance to freak out.
