Mark

Mark thought for a moment, last count was eight shells, a full tube, and he hadn't fired any since then. "Eight shells, about a full tube. I've also got... A 1911 with two rounds left, but I doubt those'd do any good." He wasn't going to mention his spare round, in fact, that was in the farthest reaches of his mind for the time being. He brushed his graying hair out of his eyes, it was about time to chop it off again.

Maze nodded bearing the pain of the disinfective "Yeah he was adopted..I found him right when he was crying over his parent's corpses as a beast almost got him..But I came in and the beast ran out..Ever since then we've been helping each other out..He became my son and I was his father..He keeps me trying to think about the good sides of this..I dont want to seem weak or depressed near him.."Maze said as Allan didn't listen but instead played around church.

Ranalf and Rana had finished eating and drinking and had packed up. Before they moved out, the beak dragon came out. "Down, down...We need to find a different path..." he said, and Rana looked at him curiously, "Why get down?" she asked as she also crouched down, like Ranalf had. "It's some kind of tainted...Like...a bird, crocodile, horse...thing..." he said, looking through his scope. Rana peers at the town hall, looking for movement, but at this distance, she can't see. "I can't see anything..." she said and Ranalf handed her the scope, which detached. She looked through it and saw it, quickly putting it down and edging away. "Eeep-" she was about to yell when Ranalf put his hand over her mouth. "Shhhh...Let's not draw attention to ourselves." he said and she nodded. "What do we do?" she asked and Ranalf pointed at the church. "Let's check there...They went in there earlier and I saw less exit then go in..." he said and put the scope on his crossbow and sliding down the hill slowly, followed by Rana. The church was across the street and two houses down on the right. It'd require that taint to be distracted for them to made a break for it...They just had to wait.

Iris glances over her shoulder towards Allan, her face showing a bit surprise but then returns to her work....T-that's just horrible... she takes a roll of bandage and starts to cover up the wounds. At this point, she was just about done treating Maze. Allan is extremely lucky to have you for a father she says, flashing a smile to Maze. She then puts all the supplies away and sits next to Maze. I doubt he'd be able to play like this if he ended up with a raider or something. Iris says with a chuckle, looking over at the boy as he continues to mess around in the Church.

((Maze's clothes are within his reach btw))

Steve grabs his own Backpack. it was filled with everything he needs to survive in the next three days. he stands up, puts the Gas cooker off/out, eats the remaining Ravioli, then walks up to the Vault door and sets the old school rotatory lock to 2012. the door unlocks and swings open.
"lets go then. there's a main road going to the town hall, from there its just a few buildings."

Steve puts his Cap on, turns his dirty hoody up, and steps outside into the Bank

===
the beakdragon realizes that her prey is reluctant to make a move. she sees that the hollow cube/house has partially collapsed. she didn't see it earlier. she was too focused on her prey. now, that would make a nice entrance for her. Twoleggers never expect something big to climb. or be sneaky. She is however, and sliders into the building. on the second floor she has to duck her head and take her steps lightly.
she nears the smell of her prey. she reaches a hole in the ground, that conveniently allowed sight on her prey. it wasn't big enough to let her through. and she can't tear solid rock asunder, yet...
however, her predatory mind can set her first target. there are a few females, one with a big stick with sharp thing on its end. there's also a Male with a short stick with blunt end. he doesn't hold it like a stick. it meant something, something on the back of her head warned her. then it clicked. twoleggers with things similar to that stick killed one of her kind, in a closed area.
a small plan of attack formed in her mind. the Male first. then the next with a stick. she remembers that the sticks made deafening sounds like thunder. she corrects her designation. anyone with a boomstick dies.
She slitters back, and takes the turn right to the stairs.
three... two...

Izzy, Tyrant

Mere seconds from the Beakdragons attack, by shear coincidence, tyrant bursts threw the front door as the weakened front door splinters into pieces. Izzy almost had a heart attack from the sight and her first thought was that he was going into a rampage but he was just lying there, a few feet away, on his back, he was also bleeding. His head flopped over as his eyes looked right into Izzy's. "IIIiiiIIIiiiZZZzzzZZZzzzYYYyyyYYYyyy..." Suddenly a massive roar came from the main street as the Tyrant jumped to his feet, bracing for something. "AAAaaaAAAaaa [censored] IT! NOT MY PROBLEM!"

With that, he smashed through one of the neighboring rooms as he jumped through a window. Two things were rushing through Izzy's head at this point, either that horse thing was stronger then it looked or there was something even bigger then Tyrant outside, eitherway if something spooked the Tyrant, they were in trouble...

Dom follows Steve into the bank, pulling back his bow, locking back the release. He heads towards the hole in the wall, peering through the gap.
He looks up and down the road checking for any tainted, not seeing any movement. He closes his eyes for a moment, visualizing the map, then he sneaks out onto the street, heading towards the town hall. Then he stops for a moment, looking back for Steve, having not yet gotten used to having a partner.

Jack

Jack stepped from the pedestal, while listening to the others' conversation. He tore his bolts from the dead Skrats and placed them back in his quiver, he then walked over to the two. He then commented, "A truly sad and courageous tale my friend... May, May I travel with you two by any chance? I can hold my own, and if any of you are religious... then I would consider myself perhaps the only, and best preacher on this earth." He took off his gas mask, and it revealed his face "You... are the first people to see my face in twenty-five years..."

He said looking at what happened than he looked over at Jack "You can come with us..But I dunno bout Iris here."He said looking to see what she would say.

Lilia watched in shock as Tyrant came crashing through the door, as well as how he almost casually busted through another window on his way out. She couldn't help but stare at Izzy for a while, wondering what just happened and how that 'person' knew Izzy. Before she could try and question the girl, a second loud roar echoed through the building; Lilia was forced to cover her ears in response. Once the noise died down, She turned to Mark. "You said that the basement leads to the sewers?" she asked, Mark silently nodded. "It's risky... I remember being told to avoid the sewers at all costs. There's almost nowhere to run if you're found out in there." Lilia debated with herself until another roar filled the room. Once Lilia had her concentration back, she started looking around for something else to use as a weapon. "Well if we stay here, we'll most likely die. I think trying for the sewers is our best option."

As Lilia finished, she noticed several decent sized shards of glass on the floor. An idea sprung into her head; she quickly set down her bag and pulled out a a roll of duct tape. She grabbed a table leg from a small pile of wreckage and brought it over to the glass. After several minutes, she triumphantly lifted her new creation into the air. The table leg had a sizable wad of duct tape on one end, and numerous shards of glass were jutting out from the tape. "It's not the most durable thing ever," she started to giggle, "but the first thing I use this on will be hurting really badly."

Iris immediately responds. I'd love to. she says brightly. To tell you the truth, I'm not exactly familiar with this area so I'm kinda lost... She continues with a nervous laugh.

Steve hurried up to come after dom. outside he breathes in and starts walking down the road to the east, circling debris and broken cars on his way.

===

three... she doesn't jump, infact, she jerks back at the sudden horrible stench of that big twolegger that just broke through a wall! a tainted creature, screaming and roaring and then its gone. her attention away from the group, she hears the roar of a even bigger thing outside.
no! No! NO! NO!!! its her prey! her meat and her territory! nothing will take it away from her!

She strains her muscles and leaps down amidst the Survivors, onto the male with the boomstick. inflight she turns her head into the horizontal and snaps at the boomstick male's chest, while her front claws thrust forward to shred the Male's lower torso and legs. her jaws are powerful enough to cleave him in two if she hits. while Her tail swipes along the ground and brings whatever his behind her on its back.
this has to go fast. any second wasted will give them time to retaliate. and she's amongst them, in enclosed space, with something big and bad outside.

((would be good to have someone die.)

((Well excuse me, but I'd rather not have my character die when he was recently introduced! D: The other one, the one I haven't introduced yet, I don't particularly care about. I know that's kind of mean to say, but I didn't plan on her surviving forever. The dog... Eh, fifty-fifty, I'd rather not have it killed honestly. And this is starting to get slightly off-topic.))

Mark

Mark may be getting up there in years, but he hasn't started to slow down yet! His quick reflexes saved him from getting bitten, blocking the creature's mouth with his shotgun. It may be a waste of a perfectly good gun, but it's better than wasting his life! Years of living in the wasteland of a planet have given him good instincts, and there was no reason not to follow them. His instincts told him to kick at the beast's neck, and he did exactly that. He could've drawn his 1911, but that'd end up getting the shotgun knocked out of the way, and that was the only thing keeping him from getting bit in half!

the twolegger acted quickly and sacrificed his boomstick to stop her initial approach. a good idea.
however, it was useless. he couldn't have known about the 6 ton per square inch of strength a beakdragon's jaw has. (2x crocodile) and even that number is inaccurate, as this species Beak is designed to amplify that strength by decreasing the surface area to a Razor sharp cleaving edge.

the shotgun snaps, and neatly falls in two parts to the ground. alongside with about thirty needle like teeth that broken off. the beakdragon hisses sharply at the pain, however, it won't make a difference, it was too late, mark is already of balance by his high kick at the beasts muscular Neck. (which is chest level, and attached to a body with shoulder height of 2m. also, its pretty darn muscular and sturdy to carry a huge skull around. so duh.) with a twinkle in her eye the beakdragon swipes at the twoleggers foot with her right front claw.

(I'm not overpowering this, because I added a weakness that will confuse/weaken her greatly! now, do you know that weakness and bring it in, in a way that isn't metagaming? also, if his kick connected it would have done some damage, but it didn't, because... odd stance and swiping footing)

Izzy

It all happened so fast when the beakdragon attacked, not only did it seemed to have come out of no where but the building began to shake as the sound of crashing buildings came from outside. Although first things first, the beakdragon. Izzy didn't really think things through as she ran towards Mark at full speed, shoving him out of the way as she got the full swing of the beakdragons claw as she slammed into a nearby wall. The claw mark seemed pretty clear on her chest as it started to bleed.

Then, it happened, the building began to shake violently as this giant red leg crashed through the roof. Then its face smashed through the roof as well as it roared at the little things that smelled good. If one looked closely, it was missing its right eye, like a pick axe went through it. Izzy seemed to panic at the sight , even more so when two metallic claws suddenly shot out of the shadows and dragged her into the darkness as her screams suddenly stopped. The giant prawn would have probably caught everyone's attention, leaving poor Izzy to be dragged away.
