Ranalf looked at Michael. "I know about her. I saw it through my scope. We both know, but there was nothing we could do about it, a crossbow can only shoot so far with out losing all its power. It was two metal claws though, I know that." he said and Rana just looked at them a bit grimly. "There's always the possibility of us going to see if we can find a corpse to bury." she said and Ranalf looked around a bit. "I suppose, but I don't see a shovel any- What the hell! Who are you?" he yelled as he saw Phobia and had his crossbow up and aimed. Rana jumped at him yelling that and fumbled to take her machete out from the sheath at her waist. As she fumbled with getting her machete out, Ranalf looked at Mark. "You know this guy?" he asked as Rana had readied her machete.

Dom sits up, "Yeah, I'm fine. Where to then?" He gets up, pulling on his rucksack and digging through some rubble to find his knife. "Alright, good to go" he says, turning back to Steve and sheathing the blade.

Lilia had to force herself not to scream. That thing just popped up from nowhere; and it was rather grotesque in appearance. She realized that she had retreated into a nearby corner out of instinct. She watched Phobia as he dropped Izzy to the ground. "Izzy...?" Lilia literally had no idea what to do right now. She wanted to make sure Izzy was okay, but that thing was standing right there. For the time being, Lilia decided on keeping her distance. She kept her eyes on Phobia, scared of what he could possibly do.

Upon seeing Phobia show up out of nowhere, Michael quickly grabbed his hammer and glared at the new arrival. He studied him for a moment before remembering that his father had told him about this monster. Michael carefully set his hammer down and raised his hands to show he was unarmed. "You're Phobia, right?" He carefully reached into his back pocket and pulled out a silver lighter. He wiped the dirt off of one side so that it shone in the light then offered it to Phobia. "I heard you like to trade for shiny objects. Would you like to trade for the girl? I'm sure you're not here to just give her to us. I have some more of these in my bag if one isn't enough."

Mark looked over at Ranalf and shrugged. "Sort of. I've heard a lot about him, seen him trading with small groups of survivors before, but that's about it. From what I've gathered, he isn't much of a threat, he just likes shiny things. Although, anyone in this world can be a threat." He reached into one of his pockets and pulled out a small handful of miscellaneous objects, a gold coin, a silver cross necklace, and a dulled blade to a pocket knife. It was all clean and in fairly good condition, aside from the blade, which had been broken, but it was still shiny. He looked them over, but decided to wait for Phobia to speak before asking for a trade.

Phobia

The creatures head slowly tilted to its right side until you heard a sharp "SNAP!" and it went limp, as if its neck suddenly snap. The eyes fixated on Ranalf. "I am known as... Phobia." He extended one of his hand, the damned thing was almost two meters long as it just kept extending until it grabbed Liefs gold coin, the rest had no real value to him. "Yes... This will do... nicely." His metallic tipped finger hit the side of it several times as he closely listened. "Real gold..." The hand suddenly snapped back towards the creature like an elastic as the coin disappeared in a pocket. "I suggest you... calm down. If I wanted you... dead, I wouldn't... have shown my... presence in the first... place."
