Mostly, they ask loaded, baity questions as a pretext for a miniature rant.

'Opisrightyaknow' appears in a couple of their their threads, unsurprisingly, with the sole purpose of backing the OP up using very similar language and tone; I would be genuinely surprised if it wasn't a sock-puppet, used with the intention of continuing to stir.

This person doesn't seem to be interested in actual conversation or discussion at the present time, and generally doesn't respond to any such attempts. As such, engaging them is most likely just going to be wasted energy.
Dunno about "Opisrightyaknow" but it's clear Grumar is a thinly veiled troll. One need only look at his post history:
  • Why does Zen refer to natani as his brother?
Will Tom ever make this more than just soft core furry porn?
Do you think the Comic is too predictable
Etc.
OPisRightYaKnow wrote: Wed Aug 08, 2018 6:37 pm The fanbase is slowly dying out and Tom knows it. This forum is a joke compared to a few years ago, and I don't just mean how many people are still here. The posts have gotten 800% cringier and the comic itself reflects the change in the TwoKinds audience. What used to be a community of fantasy enjoying nerds that were interested in the conflict between Humans x Keidran, who have been waiting for more pages about the Templar, has been replaced by annoying kids that just want to see Nat be trans and Kat bending over.
Actually, I chose to make a new account to comment since my old one uses a name that I use for other accounts. I didn't have a problem with people seeing TwoKinds pop up when they searched my name, but with the course the comic has been on since 2017; I'd rather just quietly read this comic without anyone knowing until Tom gives up on it and starts writing his next comic.
Well, you're welcome to F off back to where ever it is where there are people that would be butthurt at you for posting here if you don't like the content. You can take Grumar with you. Speaking as someone who has followed this comic from the beginning (nearly 15 years ago), and ghosted these forums since they first came online, I can say without reserve that you are speaking out of your [censored]. As I see it, neither of you add anything worthwhile to these forums, so nothing of value would be lost.

OPisRightYaKnow wrote: Thu Aug 09, 2018 2:02 pm Also, "sock-puppet"? Did I resort to calling you names? That's a little sad if you ask me, that you can't discuss a comic without the need to feel better than the person your engaging in discourse with.
Just as an aside, since you don't seem to be aware of it; in internet terms, a sock-puppet account is a secondary (or tertiary etc.,) account or profile made by a person in an attempt to appear to be more than one person, usually for the purpose of deception, extra gain in game systems, or in the case of debates, to appear to strengthen their argument or stance with 'more' voices.

So... It's not a name-call or an insult, it's just a description of the fact that, as you have confirmed to us, you are just one single disgruntled person who attempted to pose as two different people, using two different account.

Most forums have active rules against sock-puppet accounts; I don't know if this forum does, but it might be worth checking on before you continue to do this.

I don't see this as a "strawman" argument at all. In my original message you can see I went on to explain that the death of a main character must serve some storytelling purpose beyond shock and awe, and failing to do this leaves it bereft of impact. In the next paragraph I mentioned Laura's self-sacrifice as an example of a character's death done properly; furthermore, in order for future deaths to have the same impact they must occur at the climactic point of a given story arc and/or when said death would directly contribute to the plot's progression. I only mentioned Game of Thrones because it's the first thing that comes to mind when I see the words "main character death."
Good answer!

What is it with these trolls, anyway? Most people just wander off to something else when they don't like the story anymore.
IMHO, I don't see why anyone would. Aside from the slow pace, this comic just keeps getting better.

This thread is going off the rails with off-topic rants and insults. I am going to lock this thread before deliberating on any further actions.

OP admitted to having multiple accounts and is also flaming while still having an active warning on his main account. For flaming.

That's a perma, go away and don't come back.
