When was the last time you read the archives? This comic (and the one after it) was the last time they saw each other, and it firmly establishes that Trace doesn't hate Keidran. Also, that was right after the big fight against Ephemural in which Trace confessed his love for Flora, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that they're still together. Although that doesn't mean anyone will believe that Trace is the father, considering that humans and Keidran aren't supposed to be able to breed.

Well, took them 810 pages to have the two back. Looks like all it needed was the twins, a very coincidental keidran encounter, dragons, and also same location.

Anyway, in an attempt to once again be useful for my own (incredibly minor) fame, I noticed that there was no transcript for this page, so I decide to make one myself.

Some people actually talk like that. For example, imagine a very generic New Yorker character saying "Hey, how you's doin'?" (I know that "you's" isn't actually correct, but it's writing in dialect) Or, likewise, a vey southern character saying "Well, it's been a 'coon's year since I seens you! How you been, buddy'?" Grammar is sometimes thrown out the door with the uncivilized, and, well, we know how Red can be.

Or it might actually just be an actual error.

Finally, the big reunion we've all been waiting for! Poor Trace. First, a butt lands on his head; secondly, he gets a rib-crushing bear hug; thirdly, he gets pushed aside. Good thing it was all friendly, or he'd really be hurting! lol

But you have to love how nonchalant Natani shoves Trace to one side and wants to know where Zen is - and this from Red

It's kinda neat that Red is that happy to see him. Though it does also remind me that we know almost nothing about their shared past. It isn't really a reaction I would have expected.

Edit: [Thinking more about Trace's past with Group B] Wait, wait, hang on. Maren's hairstyle is pretty reminiscent of Saria's when she' got her right eye covered. Is... is that a thing? Because that... totally works.
