Next you can find my rambling about hybrids, it is a bit longer than i expected hence the spoiler tag.

The first thing that went through my mind was: "that is impossible" we have been told that hybrids are not possible. Or is it?
If i remember correctly we were told human/keidran offspring can't exist and we all assumed it applies to basitins too. But, if we start splitting hairs here, you could argue that we were not told anything about basitin/keidran hybrids at all.
For what i gather Ephemural allowed the conception of Trace and Flora child. But he also mentioned he was "bringing bask and old race" one he "has not allowed to exist" implying that ,at some poin,t Keidran Hybrids were possible but for some reason, my guess is that if messed with the mask's game scoring system, they were banned. The other option is that Flora is gonna end up like Arianna from bloodborne , no, just no.
Common sense would dictate to do the same with Basitins but considering their behavior I imagine no Basitin, except Keith, would even consider getting that close with a human/keidran. I also imagine that their government has a few laws to prevent that anyway. And considering most of them live on a secluded archipelago maybe the masks did not bother to stop basitin hybrids from appearing.
Thus we can have cute Fennec Foxes!
