You know we all consider Mary to be a bad mother and I am not gonna argue otherwise.
But given she had ample opportunity and means to "terminate" with the issue, both after realizing she was pregnant, during the pregnancy, right after delivering, some time after delivering, when she hid Raine in her secluded cottage etc. All while being "quiet and discreet" . I am gonna go and say that maybe her image and status was not the first thing she was worried about.

First I got some (AC) Evie Frye vibes from the getup. But ac robes tend to "cover" way more. Maybe something. From thief or Dishonored but it is not Steampunk enough.
Finally Tom is a fan of D&D so me thinks this is based the assassin class from that game.
