Are you seriously telling me that after all this time where Tom was trying to move away from the rumours that he drew porn and not making the comic explicitly sexual, we've now got a page about what basically amounts to an e621 fetish tag?

Ehhh, this is one of those things where I go, "was this really necessary?" and then "why did it have to be made weird?" Like, we went from discussing Raine's identity to talking about multiple sets of nipples, which is not really something I'd expect except in an explicit context. It feels detrimental to the quality of the comic.

Raine has a point I don't think she's thought of: if she finds the brushing sufficiently relaxing, she might turn back to human. In which case she'd really want to have her top on.

Considering we have no indications that Keidran evolved from normal animals, and the fact that they don't have breasts going down, I find it unlikely and illogical that they would also have nipples going down their stomach. Basically, I'm pretty sure Sythe is just having a laugh at Red's expense (which I have to admit, the fact that they're amiable enough to have that sort of relationship is awesome).

This whole thing is like a logic puzzle. On one hand, it tells us that the barbie look on keidran isn't just a rating thing; it's more or less the real appearance. And yet, since we've never seen nipples on a human, either (Trace comes to mind), that tells me that it's also a stylistic question...

Considering we have no indications that Keidran evolved from normal animals, and the fact that they don't have breasts going down, I find it unlikely and illogical that they would also have nipples going down their stomach. Basically, I'm pretty sure Sythe is just having a laugh at Red's expense (which I have to admit, the fact that they're amiable enough to have that sort of relationship is awesome).

On the one hand, I agree, and this is what I would have argued previously; two visible breasts, so presumably two nipples, too. But, how would Sythe actually think to make that gag if it wasn't so?

Clearly, the only way to be sure is for Red to feel him up

I think where you see it as worldbuilding, I look at it as a cheap gag where story could have been placed.

Granted, I'm also very much aware of my level of criticism towards the comic - I don't want it to sound like I'm constantly griping, this is just something I've noticed.

Honestly, I couldn't have expected Sythe saying anything short of outrageous (trolling or not) one-on-one with Red. I, for one, think it's hilarious. Keidran are overtly sexual out of, really, evolutionary necessity. Their lifespans sort of force their promiscuous nature. This "guy talk" their sharing I think is pretty reasonable especially given the circumstances.

I think it is actually strikingly accurate. Girls talk about feelings and guys talk about...less...sophisticated topics! Haha. The juxtaposition makes it ohhh, so much better!
